The ammount of buttons on gamepads nowadays is aproximately 12 buttons, 2 sticks, 2 bumper, 2 triggers, start and back buttons with 4 buttons on the right. Some have more, some have less. Many also have rumble functionality. A gamepad with buttons like these is most common among majority of gamers nowadays.
However, RPG Maker only makes use of the 4 buttons on the right and two of the bumpers. Even though RPG Maker MV recognizes the gamepads themselves, the games only make use of four buttons, one which is totally wasted in making cancel and menu seperate commands.
I'd want a plugin that allows for more gamepad functionality, such as handling LT key press as "S" key instead of nothing and so that you can customize the gamepad, very much like you can customize keyboard with Yanfly keyboard configuration but for gamepads.
