Recently, I bought some resources off of Steam that would allow me to have more weapon animations in the SV battle system for RPG Maker MV. Essentially, the thing the characters swing when they execute the "Attack" command. For reference, it's the "Medieval Fantasy Weapons Pack"

However, after importing the resources into my project under the "img/system" folder as the .pdf file tells you to do... They don't show up in the System tab of the Database. I've got all the default animations and objects the program itself came with, but I don't have any of the options I paid for.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Is there a way to get these into the drop-down menu or at least replace what's default in there? I'd like to use many of these options and not even the Help File of the program tells you how to do this.

That doesn't seem as useful. I'm just looking to use the sheets I bought as a "general" animation and don't want to set each individual weapon to a specific sheet if I don't have to.

I am hoping there's a way to use the sheets I bought as "general" sheets for the Database since you can buy them and the page doesn't say anything about any added extras required to use them.

In that case you'd probably have to replace the existing weapon sheets. So the game is basically set to look at the files labeled Weapon 1,2,3 and then look at a particular cell for each of the appropriate weapon animations.

So, when you tell the system to use the dagger animation it checks the Weapon 1 image file, and looks at the top left row to find what image to display. If you substitute the default Weapon 1 image file with a new one, then it will look in the same place and use whatever weapon is in the top left row.

I would assume that the DLC pack is designed with the same general formatting to make it easier to sub-in. So hopefully it would have a dagger in the same place the dagger on the original weapon sheet is, a sword in the same place as the original sword and so on so all you would need to do is change the name of the file.

EDIT: basically, without a plugin you can't add additional weapon images, only replace existing ones.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
