Switch Party Member After The Only Active Battler Reaches 0 HP

I'm working on a game similar to Pokemon in which you have only one active battler up during a battle.


You still have other party members (up to 6) but can only have one up for battle at a time.


^^Don't worry I've got that done and working! I need help on something else.^^​


 


Here are some details on some help I need to create a battle event and what I've done so far.




Question/Need help on: I'd like to make it so that when the active battler's HP reaches 0 I can use Yanfly's Party System plugin to switch to another party member.


First, there's some text that appears that says that the active battler has run out of HP, then it tells you to switch to another party member if you have >or=6 members which do not have the knockout state. Otherwise some text appears which tells you that you have no more usable members in your party and then the usual 'Actor 1's Party was defeated' text plays out and sends you to the game over screen.


Plugins being used to try to create this event: Yanfly's Party System (to switch during battle + use plugin command OpenPartyMenu to open the switch menu once the active battler's HP reaches 0), Yanfly's Row Formation (using to have the battler have a passive state which resists them getting the state Knockout), Yanfly's Base Troop Events (so I can have this affect every battle)


((I am using plugins other than these in my Project. Please tell me if I should list them.))


How I have it set up:


-Set Row 1 (Active Battler) to have the passive state which allows them to resist the Knockout sate.


-Changed Knockout state's restriction to none. (Although I don't think that changes anything)


-Variable keeping track of how many actors the party has available for battle. (Variable: #0018 Alive Party Members)

What I've accomplished so far: The text saying that the actor has ran out of HP plays and asks you to pick your next playable actor from your party.


What shouldn't but does/doesn't play out: The party menu is never opened. -EDIT- [It seems that the OpenPartyMenu plugin command doesn't work when in battle. Which is why it wouldn't work. The only problem is that I still need to find a way to make the Party Menu open up. I will look further into this. Hopefully @Yanfly will be able to help me with this and maybe add a plugin command to open the party menu in battle. This seems to be the main issue!-EndEdit- The game goes directly to saying Actor 1's party was defeated and then exists the battle. (If random encounter then it goes to Game Over screen after)


Extra stuff you may find helpful to know: The sample battler being used is named Kavoto. Ekopnom is the equivalent of party member.


Please help me figure this out! D:

Don't know if you already saw it, but here's a plugin that could be good for you: 




It allows to set a common event to run immediately after an actor died.

@Arkaik Thanks! But that's not my main problem after all. :3


I figured out how to get common events to play before you lose the battle when an actor reaches 0 HP using various plugins mentioned above, however I think the main problem after all is that the plugin I'm using to choose which party member to switch to isn't working. :p


The plugin command doesn't work in battle apparently. I think in the end I'm going to have to ask @Yanfly to add a new plugin command or something. But thanks a bunch for your effort to help! X3

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
