Story: Sydney's World is a family-friendly JRPG. Game focus is on the intersecting story arcs of a young girl seeking her father and a king in search of redemption. Sydney is a somewhat feisty eight year old who loves snacks, hates egg salad, and occasionally gets embarrassed by her lovable dad. When she is captured by an evil wizard and transported to another world, her toy elf Snowball is brought to life. Together, they stop small dogs from barking, cause a king to reconsider his philosophy, and deal with very real emotions in a fantasy world setting. 


Features:


-Family friendly: no profanity, blood/gore, sexual content...or even more damaging to young minds...lame dialogue and cheap endings!


-Sydney and villains are voice-acted to enhance engagement. Other characters are not, to encourage reading and imagination.


-Older, wiser players will enjoy unconventional aphorisms that might cause them to reconsider their own philosophy.


-Casual RPG: no inventory management or traits/abilities/skill point management.


-Designed by an educator/gamer to help children improve language and literacy skills through digital game based learning, not educational software.


-Best played together with a child 8-11 or those looking for a more innocent story.


-At key junctures artwork cut-scenes bring the rpg maker world to life.








Main Characters:





Sydney is a real eight year old girl, not a cliche fem super-hero or cliche fem helpless victim. She behaves just as the real Sydney would, alternating between cuteness, petulance, innocence, anger, sorrow, illogical decisions, jealousy, extreme joy, etc.


Snowball is Sydney's alter-ego and childhood wish-fulfillment fantasy. His whole existence revolves around her.


Dad spends most of the game in a celestial dungeon. Besides his love for Sydney, intelligence and wisdom are his driving forces.


The king is Dad's alter-ego. He is consumed with a war against another race and a rebellion within his own kingdom. In time he discovers he has caused both.

My friend's family absolutely loved it!I wanted to get it for myself but...I can't really pay stuff for now.


As it is a commercial game,you'll need this to be 100% solid.Because I think the customers will be pissed if they have to buy again.Or maybe Steam autoupdates idk but you'll need a patch script to let them recover their saves (Steam .ZIP Location>steamapps>common>Sydney's World>All the data for the stuff).

Thank you Bored Soul. I have Jet's script to save games. The game has been out a few months and requested refunds are only 1%. There may be some Steam keys floating around as I have given some to groups for giveaways.
