When I battle-test a custom made battle animation with the battle-core-engine plugin, I get a syntax error saying that the script has an unexpected identifier. What causes this? Is it something with the formula of the attack? Because if it is, I'm not too sure how that works exactly.

Please state the entire and exact message - a screenshot would be great.

Note - battle test does not load all the data required by plugins. So it could simply be that you can't use battle test while using that plugin. Try doing test play and see if you still get the same error - if you don't, that's what the problem is.

Completely different issue. Your file has become corrupt. Start a new project, and copy the Game.rpgproject from that one into your current one.
