I'm not sure if this is where I should be posting this but here is my question :

Do you think this PC can run RPG Maker MZ ?
I have a pretty Ancient PC - i3 540 @ 3.07 Ghz with 6 GB RAM

The 6 GB RAM immediately raises question marks.

Now, when someone compared MV's specs with MZ's, Touch said MV's were probably understated by quite a bit. So it's possible MZ will run anyway. Easiest way to find out is wait for release, then grab the trial and see.

If you scroll down, the system requirements are stated near the bottom of the page.
They might get updated before release if the last workings of the programmers make too much changes, but until then those numbers are all we have to follow.

It's probably going to take quite a bit more than MV because of the changes to animations and other options. But not sure if it will actually reach the 8GB they currently state in their requirements.

As for CPU things could get close since yours is quite a bit weaker than the minimum required on the product page.

But I'm really not sure whether they just try to play it safe or not or if the requirements listed are actually accurate. Best way is to do it like Shaz said and go for the trial once its out.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the system requirements aren't as much for working in the engine as they are playing the games. 8GB needed for games seems about right considering it's basically playing in a web browser and those are very RAM hungry.

My friend has a crap top from 2011 and he can make/play MV on it. I believe he only has like 2GB of RAM. My guess is that you'll probably see frame dips when playing or some performance issues in the engine ESPECIALLY when dealing with animations, but you should still be able to run it especially if you aren't doing anything else on your computer.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
