SystemSteckError occured, but why?

Hello fellow maker and player!

Like a lot of you, I want to make my own little game without further knowledge of programming and/or scripting.

But since I want to make my game resolution at least 1024x768 because of bigger selfmade graphics I have to use certain scripts, otherwise the characters are cut by the uppper end of the screen forced by the centered camera view.

So I´m trying to use "Yanfly´s Ace Core Engine" and the "Unlimited Resolution" script.

Starting the game and the first map is working on any resolution but as soon as I teleport to another map, it says SystemStack Error occured and the console tells me that in Yanfly´s Engine:156: stack level to deep (SystemStackError).

I added my scripts here for someone to check their compatibility because I really don´t konw what to do.

I have to mention that it´s a shortened version of the Ace Core Engine because someone did a tutorial once here for bigger resolutions but the DLL is missing and I have to do this otherwise.

It doesn´t work with the original Ace Core Engine neither.

Does somebody know what to do? I really need to get this to work in at least 1024x768 :/

Comment out these classes in Yanfly's Core:


- Scene_Map


- Spriteset_Map


- Game_Map


Comment out the whole class, not just it's name line!


The Unlimited Resolution script should be above Yanfly's!


This should fix your issue.

When you ask for help with scripts, please provide LINKS to the scripts, don't attach them to your post or copy/paste the code itself.

I deleted these parts you mentioned completely and now it works fine I guess, no complications so far. Thank you!

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
