this script is supposed to make items restricted or only usable by classes,i read exactly what it says,it still doesnt work, like i put <classes: witch> <classes: sage> on a item, and for whatever reason, only the priestess could use it,like i dont get what this guy is saying, the instruction are like extremely unclear or bugged,or written wrong https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/items-class-restriction.31546/

You need to put the class' ID, not it's name.

did you start a new game after correcting the notetag, or did you continue a saved game?

Seriously, if you want to add something after you posted, just edit your post instead of posting again (as that's against our rules).

continue on a saved(im trying to polish it and make the monsters more balanced and stuff)
What has that to do with it? I'm talking about a new game - as the button "new game" in the title screen of the game when playing.
I'm NOT talking about a new project (as by the menu command "new project" in the editor).

You CANNOT balance in a saved game, because the saved game will always contain the data from when you started playing it.
You'll need to start playing it from the beginning again when you try to balance, and also when you change scripts because many scripts save the data from the moment they were initialized in the game.

Actually, you CAN because the data for classes, items, skills, enemies, troops are always loaded from the database, they aren't saved on the save file (data accessed via $data behave like this, only those accessed via $game are saved into the save file).. The actor database is the only one not completely reloaded from the database unless you reinitialize the actor which most probably you wont. I am balancing my games using my saves files without problems, without any edits to the save/load sequence.

But yeah, a lot of scripts, especially older ones dont initialize on a saved game because they hooked their init and loads the notetags during the new game init sequence.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
