One pro of this game is the demo which i tried out for a bit. while for an action game so far it's ok though i had a few issues considering i was using a controller for this.
Specially i don't think you make the tutorial clear enough for those that use controllers. Having to use both the keyboard and controller was a bit troubling at first but got used to it figuring out myself.
Thanks for the feedback! Other people complained about the same issue as well. I´m working on a ''main menu'' as alternative so that the player will be able to open any kind of window there.

But one nitpick i have with the pet system is having people as pets is rather unusual. I would considering naming human characters as allies/assists and non humans ones as pets.
Wow I loved the "allies" word. I will change the word pet for allies. You´re right it would look so much better! I will try to make these changes until the end of the week!


Though is this your first game project on steam? considering the criticism here is rather accurate since steam really expects quality games, and hard work on there.

I have a mobile deployment guide that might be of some help to you.
The long and short of it is that older/cheaper smartphones pretty much won't work at all regardless of what you do. Once you get familiar with the Google Play dashboard you'll have the ability to prevent some/most of these devices from downloading your game. As counter-intuitive as it might sound, you'll want to do this to prevent a flood of 1-star reviews--which, if that happens, your game will effectively be dead in the water, and Google will show it to very few people even while you're running discount sales.

Anyway, seeing as your game uses an action-based battle system, the device requirements might unfortunately be even higher for you, especially if your game uses many events with gradual screen tints, lighting effects (lighting effects have a *huge* impact on mobile performance), and a few other factors I can't think of at the moment.

: I came here because the title implied a very interesting and different premise. However, a quick look at the description seems to indicate that the game's plot is basically an excuse plot and the game is primarily focused on mechanics, particularly the pet mechanic and is set in a Casino...just because? This is a shame because I was looking to see some Ocean's 11 style heist crew action mixed w/ rpgmaker.

Also, you are very good at taking criticism in stride, which I respect.

You are kind of right XDDD
Basically, I used all my effort to bring a game with puzzles, and with a cool mechanic. I was very inspired by Nintendo games. Which if you look at most of their games, there is no wonderful plots. But it has pretty cool challenges and gameplay.
BUT! XD it also doesn´t mean that I made a game with a trash plot. There is a mystery surrounding the casino context. During the gameplay you will unfold some clues that shows that the casino has something wrong. It´s very cool to play the game to the end and discover all the truth. I can guarantee! :D

P.S: Sorry about the Ocean´s 11 xD There is a stealth stage on the game, you need to avoid the security guards. It´s not an ocean´s 11 thing, but it´s something xD

To be honest, when I see only good reviews that praise the game without never pointing out any flaws I get suspicious and usually end up not buying the game. So even if some people think it may be an advantage for you, I think it's more of a double-edged sword. You may have got some sales from the reviews, but I'm sure you lost some too because of them.

Hello guys, due to quarantine, I was able to dedicate some more time to the game, so I did a lot of updates!

I made several changes according to your feedback here on the forum. I will mention some of them here, as a way of thanks and recognition!

I would like to say in advance that the game has had no splendid changes. The graphics, the mechanics, the plugins, the style remained. But I changed many things for the better! Many thanks to you!

I've changed the PETs names to allies.

I have changed the allies (pet) attacks to increase the chances of hitting the enemy. I also added a gauge to measure intimacy with the ally. It is now easier to understand why the ally does not attack.


I have changed the dash and QTE. Now dash only cost CT, and I removed the QTE and added a new skill called SS. (Super Skill and Soul Shield)
This SS thing are two bars that increase as you kill enemies and take damage. When increasing to a certain amount, you can use the SS skill. It's quite interesting. (I think... xD)

This correct the evasion as well, now you can evade easily the attacks.


I've fixed the HP problem in easy mode.

I've fixed the dead people casting skill thing xD

I've fixed a lot of transitions and "wait" times.

I've fixed the difficulty. Now the game has true difficulty, you gonna need use your head to beat the stages. (EASY mode still available)

I have changed the casino stage a little, to explain better that you can't be seen by the security guards. Now they have a field of vision as well.

I've changed opened doors sprites xD

I've implemented a MAIN MENU to acess all the shortcuts as well!

I've fixed the THROUGH bug on SHOP xD (it was hard to find this bug xD)

Could you take another look to the game? Pleeeaase? The game has changed a lot since you streamed it, I would be very happy if you could stream it again :D



There are many other things that have been changed, such as the tutorial, BGM volume, and details that enhance the gameplay.

I would be very happy if any of you could play, those who have already played, or the new ones who will see this publication. I would love more feedbacks.

Please keep in mind that the game still have bugs, and still have strange things in the game. (I think xD I haven't seen yet xD)
I have my limitations, and the game will not be able to improve much of what it is. Speaking of major changes.

I'm very happy to release to play store as well, it was REALLY hard to do it. Many challenges XD

And finally, I put the game for free, on both platforms.

Should be able to release Haxe MV/MZ next weekend.
It look that somehow MZ tracks are messed up (for example battle4 is obviously a theme, castle2 is a ship, ship1 is a scene and so on..). Maybe they just named them after with some ambiguity.
is there a script call that return how much turn has passed in battle?
