Tales of Series

So for you lucky people in NA this is a big day for fans of the "Tales of" Series - Tales of Graces f is released on the PS3 today.

Any fans of the series?.

I really like the tales of series, from an untranslated verison of phantasia to symphonia... I haven't had much time to finish some of the PS2 tales games, but I have them for a rainy day I will probably get tales of graces, just not right way... not with ace coming out anyways, my attention span is limitied

Yea I had the old untranslated version of Phantasia aswell although it was Symphonia that really got me started on the series.

Im now sitting with a pretty proud collection of Tales games on my shelf (Ranging from a JP Phantasia to Tales of Destiny and Tales of Graces when my copy gets shipped from the US).

I have the Tales series collecting dust at the moment while I get through all of my old games. After I get my Mass Effect binge out of the way, going to finish up Suikoden 3-5 and start up Wild Arms 1-5.

I think the Tales series is vastly enjoyable! That said, I don't have too many of the games. Or maybe I do?

It all started with Tales of Destiny on the PSone. Still my favorite Tales game personally, for a certain Rutee Katrea. And the Swordians especially. And music. Gah, the whole game!

Despite having that and loving it, I never got ToD II(which is apparently not the real ToD II, so I'm not too concerned.) I've tried Tales of Phantasia, it's alll good as well. More recently, I have Tales of Vesperia, which I still need to finish. I bought Tales of Symphonia for the Gamecube last year. I got Tales of the Abyss 3DS last month, and we have Tales of Graces f has shipped from Amazon. Also just found Tales of Legendia in our local Gamestop for cheap, and I have the PSP cross-over game which looks like a lot of fun. I think I also just ordered the Wii Tales of Symphonia(Dawn of the New World) game.

I dunno how many of the games have been officially released here, but I guess I have a decent amount of them! ToD is still my favorite, though. Wish the PS2 remake would've come out here. Or the proper sequel on the PS2 for that matter!

I lost track of the Tales of series after Symphonia, mostly because it went to Wii. Only had a few PS releases... :/

The Sequel to Symphonia went to the Wii yea.

They recently re-released Abyss on the 3DS, Vesperia is very good and is on the 360.

Tales of Graces f is out today in the US on the PS3

that explains it, the first batch of the copies were sent 2 days ago, u probably have to wait 1 or more 2 days till they restock

They shouldn't be offering pre-orders if they can't fulfil it on release day.

I just picked up Tales of Grace F and I can't wait for it to end it's installing so then I can get playing!

I really adore the Tales of series, Vesparia being my favorite with Abyss elbowing in on that spot very often. I adore their way of handling the characters and their colorful designs never make me think of the series having a bunch of familiar clones. Their battle system imo has been very tight with very little complaints from me, and it's one of the only games I actually love when I beat because their endings make me happy to have played through it all.

I only wish Bamco wasn't so blasted stupid with the series when it comes to exporting them to other countries. I mean, the whole Vesparia thing was absolutely ridiculous and fury inducing since I in no way can understand Japanes to even attempt playing the game. They may not even bring Xillia out over to other countries if the sales of the Abyss DS game or the Graces F sell poorly, which is utterly silly cause the sales figure for that game was staggering. Why wouldn't they branch it out??

And why the poo don't we have Rebirth, Tales of World 2, Tales of Enternia for the PSP, and Destiny PS2 remake!? DX Bamco WHY? Such poor exporting tactics!
