Hey, guys!
I'm sort of new here but I've been lurking on the forums for the past year--learning things and (legally) grabbing commercially free and paid for assets for a game that I've been making over the course of this past year.
My game was just recently greenlit on Steam and I'd like to share it with you guys here!
The name of the game is....
Tales of the Elements FC!
MADE IN RPG MAKER VX ACE
Tales of the Elements First Chapter is an action role-playing game similar in style to the classic Japanese RPGs of the 90’s but with a twist: a heavy influence of Hip Hop music and culture blended seamlessly with the characteristics and setting of a traditional JRPG to create a world of fantasy and style! Tales of the Elements FC features music that blends Hip Hop with JRPG-style tunes and a speedy action RPG combat system that supports up to 4-players with X-Box 360 controllers. Journey through a world that re-imagines the history of Hip Hop culture in a unique way: by setting it as the lore to the world of “Polyphony!”
Starring music producer and recording artist Last BeNeVoLeNcE, the legendary
“Chip Hop” pioneer Mega Ran, and Panacea producer K-Murdock!
The Plot
In the world of Polyphony, the 4 Elements of Hip Hop (DJs, B-boys, Mcs, and Graffiti) used to be an influential part of modern day society. They were used to help better the world and keep young and old alike away from bad influences such as drugs and gang violence.
However, things have changed since The Industry took control of everything by influence through the media and so-called “Hip Hop artists” who are imitations of the former. Ever since, The Elements have been forced to thrive as a secret underground community to hide themselves from the threat of The Industry.
This story is about a group of artists, Last BeNeVoLeNcE (aka BeNeVoLeNcE), Mega Ran, & K-Murdock who team up to fight back and restore Hip Hop back to it’s glory days.
Key Features:

FAQ (just in case):
Hold on...so you've been lurking this whole time? Why didn't you just post here when you needed something?
Yeah. Good question.
Here's another good question: Why would I want to bother you guys with more questions when the answers are already here?
Does this game have RTP graphic assets?
Yes.
But, those assets will really ruin your game--are you planning on changing that?
I just found out about the negativity between the gaming community and RPG Maker games--like--last week but because of that my answer is.....
Yes. Be patient. We've already invested in other things for it and we'll get to that and do a free update to make it look more original!
Did you pay for those assets such as the battle system (which is obviously the Pearl ABS script by Falcao)?
OF COURSE! I made sure to research whatever assets needed a license or payment before using them and I paid for them before even using them. I've also credited everyone for every asset/script that I've used! Admittedly, there may have been some that required payment that I MAY have missed (because I'm human and I make mistakes). If so, please let me know here and I'll be glad to pay up or remove those assets.
Whoa! How did you get that ABS to work with gamepad???--and how did you get it to support 4-players?????
Just show us some support by voting and spreading the word and I'll be happy to post the add-on scripts in the forums here!
You know, your game could be better if you.....
Great! Send your suggestion(s) here: lastbenevolence@outlook.com
I'd love to check them out privately and discuss them with you!
I want to help in the actual development! Can I do that?
Before I answer that I want to emphasize that the game is finished. But, it's the first of 2 parts--plus we want to celebrate our Steam release (if we make it) with a nice patch to give it that extra "shine." One thing we'll DEFINITELY need is an artist that can replace the currently used background sprites.
Can I have a free copy of your game?
SURE......If you're listed in the credits. Whoever I used assets or scripts from are entitled to having their own copy of the game and it's second part!
I'll attach the credits to this post!
Finally, I want to thank everyone here in the RPG Maker community for your helpful and knowledgeable posts! AND for your support!
