Hi everyone and welcome to my post.
Before talking about what I came to look for, I come first of all to seek help (because I have been starting for a while), maybe for some, simple things (in my opinion who are). I am French and excuse me, but I have to go through a translator.
I don't know if you're like me, but I would like to put things in place before I can tackle the games directly. That is to say, to have a visual that suits me then go on the story.
Basically, the character sprites are how to say... CRUSH! They look like characters from Japanese chibi cartoons, which absolutely does not correspond to the atmosphere I want to put in my "game" (I don't really want to create a game, for those who are curious, come see me in PV).
That's why I found different posts, where people share their creations. It's good, it's cool, it really makes you want. Except that, um, how to say, I come across a "bone" if you know what I mean.
I saw several options if I'm not mistaken. the first would be to take the sprit of the character in a 3 x 4 box, cut off the head (have the poor one) and stretch the body (don't ask me the size, because I don't even know how many pixels it takes stretched). Me personally, I think that if I do it this way, the result will be with ultra slobbery textures and completely blurry. So it's ugly and long to do. Anyway, unless there is another method for this example. source: https://zenn.dev/tonbi/articles/6054d1eff8520f
Second, I found available software called TAB 0.9x unofficial. It's even cooler than going through a drawing software, except that it's not complete and I don't know how to complete this list, if someone would know how to do it and help me add other clothes , he would be warmly welcome.
Then comes the third stage of my research. When I type on Google "tall sprit body" I therefore fall on this forum and registered a few minutes ago. And I see character sprites that I'm going to call "naked". His naked characters are with different layouts, we can see in this example characters kissing https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/proxy.php?image=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.waywardmartiangames.com%2Frpgsprites%2FWayward-Poses-HandHolding.png&hash=ea1a6e3752389cb4c8ac8aa91665d108 source: https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/inde...s-tall-sprites-new-base-february-2022.135139/ When I see that, I tell myself that the possibilities of creation, of adding emotions to my "game" will be enriched. Except, "HOW WE USE IT" It's a real Chinese puzzle (without being racist) to find super clear answers without the answer being: you can't do that with a generator, you all have to create by yourself! Personally, I don't think everyone who shares content for RPG Maker is knowledgeable about drawing, especially pixel art. So I guess there must be a cheat, bare sprit base + clothing pack (and/or with a generator). In addition in this forum we can see the animation, the rendering. I want. https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/proxy.php?image=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.waywardmartiangames.com%2Frpgsprites%2FElfkisserTest-01.gif&hash=b6a8fa16a61f8151b6691cfc6b0c9820 In this example we see two elves, which doesn't interest me at all, that's why I want to know how to create this myself.
Afterwards, I don't want to be mean here and with anyone, nor be unpleasant, nor anything else, if you come to answer me, learn to draw, go photoshop, or other "stupidity" of this kind, I don't think that's really the help I'm looking for, but maybe I'm wrong too. It's possible that I really need a drawing tool and know how to go about it, that's why, for me, it would be really necessary, to sit down with someone who really knows , who can show me how to do it (via discord for example in video sharing) so that I can understand the steps. Afterwards, of course, we can always become friends afterwards and exchange our ideas and knowledge while staying in touch, in any case, that's the idea that I had when I came to "crie" for help. here.
I'm sorry for this writing pad but it seems necessary to make you understand clearly what I came here looking for.
I thank you all for the attention paid to my request, I hope to make a lot of nice friends with whom I could stay in touch for a long time.
