Hi all, I'm using tall sprites, and with that weapons image does not line up with the new tall sprites.

So rather then edit via photoshot/Gimp ( I tried this ) It doesn't scale too well.

So I looked at the rpg_sprites.js file.

And found


Sprite_Weapon.prototype.updateFrame = function() {

var index = (this._weaponImageId - 1) % 12;

Now I would need to change the Width and Height but I don't know how to calculate weapon sheet sizes to tall sprites sizes?

The other option is to play around...... but this can be inconsistant.

Can anyone help me with this Mathatical question?

I'm using The POP horror tall sprites so unsure on demensions....I think they are 32 x 32 but scaled by 300 for MV.

I don't know if this will help you because you're using MV, but in ACE the gamehub helps you format these sprites correctly.

@KenKrath this has nothing to do with the sprite format.
the weapon is a different picture than the sprite and NOT part of it, that is why the positioning of the two pictures (weapon and sprite) needs to be programmed.

@Sparky89 theoretically you are correct, but it will require some more info and some work.
Please check the exact pixel sizes of the sprites, then someone might be able to help you with this.
And the changes should be done as plugin, not by editing the core files, so you should ask a mod to move this to plugin requests.
