Teammate talk depending on current map/area

Is there any way to Condition it so if player talks to team mate, the conversation will vary depending on the map?

For example,

Map 1: Team mate says Hi
Map 2: Team mate says Hurry up

I would google but I'm not sure how to phrase this or what this is. I have experience on how to use variables and branches and switches, so some suggestions would be nice. Thanks! (I'm using a button for talking so I only want to know how to event this part if it's even possible.)

I think you could just copy/paste the event into each map and change the text.

im not 100% sure but that guy that everyone loves (name slipped my mind lol) has a gab window (teammate talk) that is really customizeable

Gab Window Tutorial and link to plugin

i watched this one months ago but IIRC it lets you change the conversation based on several conditions, I want tot say map specific is included but if none of the gab window triggers are directly tied to the map i'm sure theres a similar work around to get the same effect in that video.

I'm not interested in using plugins but thanks. I'd prefer it all be done via the game. A simple script could suffice though.

And the event would be a Common Event so I won't be copying and pasting the event on each map. But thanks.

If you go under control variables, then select the box that says Game Data, you can capture the mapID. You can use this in simple conditional branches to choose what your teammates say

Super stoked i just finished my first town in my project, by finished i mean i can always add more decorative aesthetics and the NPCs don't talk yet but the mapping is complete and all the important chess pieces are present!
My brain: Hey, I have an idea how to make the transition to the main story quest in The Wastes more natural!

My brain: You need to remake the hotel you start out in, it's not realistic enough.
Me: Ok... This was unexpected, but I can do it.
My brain: Now make each hotel floor 5 times as large to match the main part. Oh, you also need to make a bunch of new npcs to fill in the space on these maps.
Me: Crap.
Should be able to release Haxe MV/MZ next weekend.
It look that somehow MZ tracks are messed up (for example battle4 is obviously a theme, castle2 is a ship, ship1 is a scene and so on..). Maybe they just named them after with some ambiguity.
