I would like to point out that Makio's feedback is very detailed and will help you improve your game a lot. Just take your time to go through it with a positive mindset when you have time.

Keep trying and trying again, never give up, and you will see that you can do so much better.

Alright man, I'll give this a play through as well when I'm finished moving by the end of the month. Can already say that controller support doesn't work with my XboxOne controller. However if I do pick that option, the dialogue does change to match the controller inputs. I understand it's a demo and that you'll still have some kinks to work out.

Also, about some of those sentence comments, I have another take on this we do need to consider and that is not everyone says everything in complete sentences. So I think (for example) Perish by my blade is just fine, as many people say partial sentences. This could be a result of being startled, angry, or other factors that make them not say a complete, perfect sentence.

Yes its drastically different then the original 2014 Demo .

I played the demo on a stream.

Well.  What to say.   I'll start with this:  Either credit me for the songs I did or kindly remove ALL of my music from your project. Permanently. 

Even though it's a demo you NEED to have some kind of TXT file in there explaining who did what. We want to know! If we liked the project, we'll wanna know who made X (and maybe commission them).  A'ight?  (This actually goes for EVERYBODY.  Save the excuses. Just do it)

The title screen was okay. I have to agree with Makio and join the "color" bandwagon. Someone suggested that the gray should be brighter. 

And another thing. That's Boldpaste2's evented title screen. Coolio.  However, there's a problem. You're using his visual assets and they need to go. You can't use 'em; it's even in his topic! :/  Please fix it.

The writing.  There were a lot of errors in grammar which I'm sure you already know of.

The story itself was... very confusing.

Others in the stream were a  bit opinionated. Here are some thoughts:
 

The story made little to no sense.  I was SO confused when zeldon guards came to warn that the church was under attack.

But then when you GET to the church, somehow we already knew that the ZELDONS were the ones attacking the church? That's a plothole. A pretty big one.

I'm glad there are save points in the game but they're a little too sparse for my liking.

Lastly, the battle.   *deep breath*

I lasted thirty seconds until my party was defeated by beginner level monsters ON NORMAL MODE. You NEED to balance out your monsters and enemies, otherwise players won't want to play. At all.

Please, please, please fix the enemies. I did not enjoy the game at all. I got frustrated in trying to play! >_<

FINAL THOUGHTS: I know you're still quite buggy and I took that into account, but overall this demo is lackluster... at best.  I've seen what you can do and I know you and your team (please credit them too, it's a JOINT effort) can do better.

This game has some potential but at this point it's trying too hard to be a tales of game. (A comment from the stream)

EDIT: Game over screen broke the game. It didn't do ANYTHING AT ALL until I hit enter, then nothing again until I hit escape. 
Then I got this game-breaking bug

Regarding the hiatus, if you're not going to fix the credits then you should take the demo down until you have time to do so.  It's violating both resource contributors terms and forum rules otherwise.

I've been following this game for quite a while and it looked good and very promising so far, don't get discouraged and take the feedback in the best way possible to improve it (yes, even if it's harsh it's still extremely helpful). Maki put a lot of effort for that post and raised some valid points. Don't cancel it ffs, it's not a disaster, just fix the things pointed out and you'll be ready to go.

Hi Cosmos!

Croc was actually agonizing over giving you the most constructive feedback and not sound to sour doing it. I'm sure he didn't mean to offend you in any way. I'm sure he will make another post apologizing for it but he really meant no harm.

As for the title screen bit, I personally have no gripes with it. However, parts of the visual assets were commissioned and that was their terms of use, just so you know.

Look, it's not right to say "no you don't have mental health issues" to anyone. You aren't in their shoes, you don't know their life; just because it doesn't line up with your own PERSONAL definition or experience of it, doesn't mean you can say "you don't have that."

Yes, I was trying to be helpful - whether or not CC wanted that, agrees with that, or anything else is up to them. So please kindly stop bringing up me in future posts. Others do not need to tell them whether or not my post was helpful; that is for CC to decide. I would especially not want to be brought up in any post that is going to baselessly accuse them of lying about the state of their mental health.

I'm sorry, CC, I never meant for your thread to go this way. I don't know if something has been done in the meantime, but I've just tried and I had no problem with the sound.
