*I don't know if I should post it in here instead of Yanfly's forum where you post things about his plugins are buggy and stuff.
But this counts as a technical error? Right? And I'm still a student, so CODES are out of my reach.

So here's my problem.
Last week; I was developing on my dummy project which was working just as FINE without any plugins installed in it cause I don't know much of the plugins because I'm a primal person working in a vintage 1st gen computer and opening chrome is like a century-long battle waiting to see a small portion of GOOGLE.

But here's the thing! after adding Yanfly's Core Engine. Things did not go too well...
The transfer event started to send me an error every time I finish my Intro which is quite annoying and done several playtests, nothing happened.
I figured a file extension might be BROKEN so I searched every last aliens in my file, I've found nothing cause I can't understand those .jsjsdhsjdhsj things.

BUT WAIT! The plugin is in latest version and actually worked in my previous dummy projects with other plugins such as Yanfly's Action Sequence Plugin and other core plugins like Class Change Core, etc, etc.
I searched the forums to see if others are having the same problem as mine but apparently I was the only one having the same problem so I tried doing another new project and added a transfer event to an empty map to see if the files on that project has actually broke up from the file and replaced it's status from relationship to single; Apparently that wasn't the case. The newly made project works without the Core Engine, breaks again after adding it and turning it on.

Oh just in case, the game actually works and lets me encounter and fight monsters in the area. It just sends me this annoying
TYPE error thingy every time I pressed action button on a transfer event (Moving out of the map, or going inside an inn.)
it only sends an error when i turn the plugin on. Here's the error.

Oh and here's my plugin's list that are currently present in the project;

(Yes that is all.)

Or maybe it's my fault for adding more parts to the Generator, i dunno if i messed things up and actually killed the main file.
Please do tell me, i'm at my limit at not making progress at my game.

Cheers, Dukemach.

The generator has nothing to do with this error.

There are only three things that can cause this:

1) you forgot to start a new game after installing the plugin - saved files will become incompatible and cause such errors.
2) you forgot to configure the plugin properly - you can't simply install and forget a plugin, you need to sets its properties and any notetags correctly.
3) your core files are of an older version that is incompatible with the current plugin version and you need to update them as well.

There is a good chance that it is 3, especially if you never updated your project (and the dummy projects were all created with a newer version than your original project). Just go to any of the update topics and read how to update projects after you update the editor - project updates are always on manual, they are never updated automatically.

Maybe the third one was the problem... I'll try checking my core files to see if they're up to date.
The original ones was made last week; so it has same version with the dummy projects I've made.
Any more reasons that might've caused it? Cause I'm using the same editor and the 1.23 ver of Core Engine last month (About JAN 18 or so) to create a project and transfer events are working properly.

Cheers, Dukemach.

*EDIT: Apparently the outdated Editor was the cause or maybe not...

(I can't update the editor because of connectivity issues. Understand the internet issues in my country thanks.)

File damage is the only other option - for example if you're working with MV on a clouddrive (which you should never do).
Because the maker editors use databasing file access, not regular file access - if a cloudsync functions activates on a file while the editor is working on the same file, you can basically say goodbye to that file and hope for a backup.

Maybe it was a file damage. Cause I tried different options regarding about this "ERROR"
  1. Thought of my desktop being broken and all, tried with a friend's laptop, still the same. Error at transfer event and crash!
  2. I asked around my circle if they had a latest RPG Maker MV and apparently one had and replacing my main file with his latest files is totally impossible without the help of a fast connection. (because he's in different country)
  3. Finally; Replaced everything with new ones located within the JS folder and nothing happens
I'm hoping my desktop has a backup. I've wasted like 2 days of my life in that project ._.
Maybe a solution for this; A script maybe?
Almost forgot, I have no idea what is this Clouddrive thingy. Maybe google will elaborate things for me.

Cheers, Dukemach.

And why don't you simply use the updater or installer from the official website?

Never thought of that.
I'll try updating my editor to see if it fixes my problem.
Might result in another error though, I can feel it.

Cheers, Dukemach.

*EDIT:
Alright, after updating my RPG maker MV; I knew it wasn't my projects nor my desktop being a vintage.
The problem is that the file is damaged; Instead of showing the editor's screen with my dummy project loaded on it, I get this.

White screen!
I think my life with my RPG Maker MV ends here.
Cheers.
**EDIT: I was just kidding, after fixing the white screen (had to clean my PC twice and redownload the whole file for the whole day) it totally got fixed. Thanks!

Are we allowed to post about non-RPG Maker games?
I should realize that error was produced by a outdated version of MZ so that's why it pop up like that
