Hi everyone, I need some help..
I use this Galv plugin to boost my character's frames:

Unfortunately, however, I do not understand what the size is to create the right template.
Can you give me some help?
Thank you.

Galvs Demo- Plugin provide example Char Images ,.. is it not possible to use them as reference?

I am not sure but i think Char Images always just need the right relation betwen length and witdh ,but the Whole size can be different.

Let's assume the width and height for each individual frame are w and h respectively.
Since there are 8 frames for each row (columns) and 4 rows in total, the total size of the image will be (8*w)x(4*h) pixels.

Using the attached images, what should I do? :rolleyes:

Can I try to take the original template (inside the Gakv demo) and duplicate it until I find the right size for my character?

Galvs Default demo img size:
L = 232 pixel
W = 512 pixel

Now we calculate the size you will need for a "singel char part":

L = 232 / 4 => 58 pixel
W = 512 / 8 => 64 pixel

I attached an IMG that has the correct Size, but resizing your IMG, made it look Bad.
You cant take this IMG and use its Size as Default Reference for a "singel char part".
( I also added an Empty Default Size IMG )

EDIT
I also attached an "Empty Galv Default IMG".
with the Size :
Galvs Default demo img size:
L = 232 pixel
W = 512 pixel
For better Understanding here the ORIGINAL img from Galvs Demo in Spoiler:
This is only for Tutorial Purposes and its the same IMG that Galv use in its demo.
$Default%(8).png

(I also tried to make a whole finished Img with your Images but since there are only the sideView IMG parts -these can be Mirrored- .. the top Line and the bottom line of Char-IMGs would be missing.. and resizing looks bad anyway)

Oh you're talking about the size of the character? It depends on your map actually. Each frame can be of any size. The character just has to look the perfect size compared to everything else in the map. Place your character next to something like a bookshelf or a bed or anything you want to compare it to in an image editing software and then scale accordingly.

I forgot to mention if you want your Char to look bigger than the Default Char from Galvs Demo than you can multiply Galvs Demo Default Sizes:

100% Size :
Galvs Default demo img size:
L = 232 pixel
W = 512 pixel
Singel Char part :
L = 58 pixel
W = 64 pixel
Galvs Default Demo Size for the Whole IMG ( find out the 50% ):
L = 232 pixel /2 = 116 pixel (50% Size)
W = 512 pixel /2 = 256 pixel (50% Size)
=> the singel Char Size would be :
L = 116 pixel (50% Size) / 4 = 29 pixel
W
= 256 pixel (50% Size) / 8 = 32 pixel

Add 50% to the GalvDefault Size to get 150%:
L = 232 pixel + 116 pixel = 348 pixel (150% Size)
W
= 512 pixel + 256 pixel = 768 pixel (150% Size)
=> the singel Char Size would be :
L = 348 pixel (150% Size) / 4 = 87 pixel
W
= 768 pixel (150% Size) / 8 = 96 pixel

Or try 200 % Size:
L = 232 pixel *2 = 464 pixel (200% Size)
W
= 512 pixel *2 = 1024 pixel (200% Size)
=> the singel Char Size would be :
L = 464 pixel (200% Size) / 4 = 116 pixel
W
= 1024 pixel (200% Size) / 8 =128 pixel

I believe it can actually be any size you want. The game simply takes the char img and cuts it up into several pieces by dividing the img evenly by the # of frames. You let the plugin know how many frames there are using the naming convention described in the plugin help section.
* For example, a characterset with 8 frames per character could be named like:
* MainHero%(8).png

Just finished composing a boss battle theme!
Scripted a multi-variable weather system that randomizes wind speed, cloudiness, rain, fogginess, etc, while attempting to realistically account for interactions between them (e.g. wind speed affects fogginess, cloudiness affects rain, etc), the current weather pattern, and the player's biome e.g. swamp, beach, etc. Now I "just" have to tie visuals and sounds to the variables so stuff actually happens...
I'm having a headache balancing the combat using flat defense so I'm gonna use percentual armor, in this pic, Simon has 16 on Defense which means all the incoming damage will be reduced by 16% this will ease my burden a bit.
!Have a nice day everybody¡
SO glad they patched outer worlds for switch! I can finally play it! Weird that other peeps are still having issues. I know it was really chugging on my lite when it first came out.
