Does anyone know if there is any sort of sample games, templates or premade games for RPG Maker MV floating around? Like really simple, generic games using the premade maps. And specifically a full database of enemies, items, and abilities.

While I don't know of any sample games off the top of my head, I know there's a full database on the Steam workshop and I remember an admin posting one here a while back. For sample games otherwise I think the FSM: Town of Beginnings dlc has one, otherwise I would recommend just checking out peoples' demos.

Well, I don't want to steal anyone's game for my uses. I'm looking for something to build on, preferably just using the premade maps that come with RPG Maker MV.

there is a database in your program folder that you can manually copy into a new project for more default entries, and you can access over a hundred sample maps - but there is no game made with those resources.

There is actually some default maps you can load up via rightclicking on the map list, and then clicking on "load"

you can also use that "Generate Dungeon" feature to create more maze-esk maps to work off of.

but yeah no template games themselves.

I know how to load the premade maps, but they don't load with any events, and are unconnected. I was wondering if anyone connected them all, and made a game with it for people to use.

Also, where is this database? I looked into RPG Makers MV's program folder, and I thought I found it, but when I pasted into an blank game it didn't change anything.

The folder of the database is called "NewData_FantasyEN" - where it is depends on your installation.

The editor needs to be off when you copy that data into a project

I'm looking for something specifically made for people to use, which is why I described it as a template game. I don't intend to not give credit.
