So I am in need of two scripts that will add mroe text-based scenes into the game. The first one needs to be a dialogue box that fills the entire game screen. This box needs to be scrollable as the cutscenes that use it will use a lot of text. (I know this isnt much to go on, can't quite think of how to word it properly so feel free to ask questions.)

The second script adds a custom command to fights. "Inspect" which will bring up a new window displaying the targets stats, portrait, and a description of the monsters appearance, I think there might be a script like this (probably a beastiary script) and if there is, just link it and ignore this part. xD If any of this is too vague just ask soem question, Im not in any rush to get these.

For the first, you can always just use the Show Picture command during events. It's typically what I do, a low opacity black background with a wall of text. A lot easier than managing script calls and text files in my opinion.

For the second, Yanfly has an "Enemy Info" script (I think it's called that). If I recall, they don't want their scripts hotlinked elsewhere so just google it.

That could work though I have very little experience with using pictures so it'l ltake a little tweaking. And I had a feeling there was a script like the second one but I wasn't sure, thanks for the help!

Edit: Though that will get a bit tedious for longer scenes but worth it

*Bump* Guys...I derped out here x_x I forgot somethign very important about the text-based custscenes! This game uses a very large number of variables for the PCs appearance and the scenes need to be able to change accordingly, so  a picture won't work. x.x Sorry guys!

RMMV
Check the options for the advanced messaging system scripts - there is one by Yanfly and one by modern algebra, and perhaps a few more.

Yanfly's script has the option to link the textbox size (both X and Y) to variables, allowing you to increase or decrease the displayed textbox. All scripts have text codes to display faces based on party index (instead of actor index) and several more comfort codes for easy controls.

You'll find those advanced message scripts on the master script list.

If those don't work for you, you'll probably have to use or request a custom journal script..

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
