(LOL holy crap I'm sorry guys; Iron Brew is right; I DID double-post three consecutive times. I'll make sure not to do it anymore for the rest of this thread!)

Anyway,

I have to say that the "Tyrant" monster from the first Resident Evil game is definitely something that would give people nightmares. Not only was it terrifying in appearance, but the only way to kill it in the original (PlayStation 1) version of the first game was to blow it to bits by shooting it with a rpg (rocket-propelled grenade).

Not terrifying for the same reason a lot of these other enemies are terrifying, but due to how Earthbound’s HP works if you’re slightly low…man…the panicked button mashing that ensues.

What in the hell is THAT thing?! XD
A mini-boss in Breath of Fire 2. You hear singing in the woods.. huntsmen have been disappearing in the woods to never return. Your party goes to investigate and sees this lady singing. Turns out, its a giant frikin head monster using the singer lady "angler" to lure people into the woods to eat them.

>_<

Oh my God that is so creepy! Also that enemy looks like a badly-mutated blackberry. XD

The Beholder from the Eye of the Beholder series.

That made me scream and run the first time because it disintegrates your character with a spell.

Well if we are going retro then this guys another good one (fallout has a lot of disturbing characters actually, even the regular humans and such have a weird uncanny valley vibe to them). Brilliant boss too, creepy in every sense of the word really he's basically a eugenicist who somehow fused with a super computer who captures people and turns them into monsters trying to create a master race of superpowered mutants who you can talk into giving up and killing himself by pointing out said mutants are actually sterile and thus all he's creating is a genetic dead end. Definitely one of the creepiest overall interactions I've ever had in a game before.

Fun times, makes me miss times when games could actually try weird stuff and didn't have to be all cookie-cutter same-y (or else the market is just so oversaturated that I legitimately cannot find anything else) all the time.

You think that's creepy? You're right. But mine might be even scarier. I've recently gotten into the "Silent Hill" series and I've been binge-watching longplays of all of the games. This was by far in my opinion one of the SCARIEST monsters in the entire series. I present to you....."God", from Silent Hill 3!

Hey folks, if you post about a problem you're having, and people give you suggestions to fix it, and one of those suggestions works, don't forget to come back and let them know. And it wouldn't hurt to say thanks while you're at it ;)

Continuing our countdown with Capsule Monster #14 Plug-Go! Plug-Go was originally meant to be the design of a gameboy game I wanted to make that was inspired by Megaman Battle Network! While that hasn’t worked out I’m happy I was able to recycle his design!

Took some time to pretty up the maps too.

12 hour little challenge for myself to do a big'ish enemy. Released for MV/MZ, working on my streamline one for later as I love the four frames over three. Spins a whole lot better I think.
Okay last one for now, it's time to go treat myself to some Zelda!

UPDATED- I've completely ripped off Sword of Mana right here lol
