Howdy. So I'm developing a project on RPG Maker Vx Ace (can be found here) and I'm doing this entirely on my own. I would prefer to have some assistance in the fields that I don't excel in. All nonsense aside, the point of this post is for me to request assistance. Here's what I need.
Maps - While my maps aren't horrible, I can give off the illusion of something presentable with proper lighting etc. I have yet to make an award winning map though because I'm only a kid, so chill. This is probably the least important thing that I'm asking for next to music, since I'm fully capable of making my own
Sprites - This is the main reason I'm making this post. When I bring up sprites, I'm only referring to battle sprites. My project is using Moghunters LMBS, which I have accompanied with Vibrato's VX Ace Battlers (can be found here) and I'd like to make the project feel more "at home". I feel like (in terms of presentation and customization of the battle system) I've mixed everything together really well, but having more original battlers would top that. Now I'm simply asking for edits of the Vibrato battlers that I linked above (same base and actions, but different hair, color, clothes etc). While I can do simple recolors, that doesn't satisfy me.
Writers - One shroom trip later and I'd have a book, but the issue is time. Again, I'm using Moghunters LMBS, so that's a lot of customizing and skill ideas and tweaks that I have to do, on top of adding enemies (I'll spare you the details). I'm only human. Also, I think my game dialogue is abysmal. This stems from the fact that all of the characters with the most to say in my project are going to end up talking like me (I'm not normal enough for that). A group of writers (or at least one) for story ideas and dialogue would be greatly appreciated.
What I Can Do For You - As stated earlier, I can recolor sprites, but who cares. The main point is that I can produce music. Since I'm doing it electronicly, I may not be able to get an authentic sound trying to produce something orchestral sounding (I can try but I'm not sure about this one). However, I can most definitely make something that sounds more "video gamey" (Think old Sonic or Megaman but with good quality instruments). Also, if you want something that's less conventional and just trippy, then lucky me. I'd be willing to "trade" services because I don't want spend money if I don't have to. Anyway, hit that text box and shoot me a reply. Also, don't forget to check out my project here.
