SYNOPSIS

First chapter of the saga, The Devil's Womb is a free "Made in Italy" classic puzzle adventure-horror title produced by Insane Kat Studio and made with RPG Maker MV.

Part of the story is set during the Second World War, more precisely in Krakow.

The protagonist, a girl named Franciszka Jung, is about to undergo the last psychiatric session before discharge. She suffered from various psychotic disorders in the past that led her parents to hospitalize her.
After years of prayers and treatment, that day was the last day for Franciszka: the day before her death.

Franciszka will completely lose the memories of what happened in those last days.

In the meantime, a sweet demon without memories and without a past, named Luna, will wake up in a dark place before an ancient and abysmal evil.

How did Luna end up there? Is there any way to get out?
What mysteries are hidden among the inhabitants of that dark place?
What does the mark that Luna bears on her forehead even mean?

● Classic puzzle/RPG gameplay with a focus on the Horror genre, flavored with literature and tenderness.

● Puzzles and challenging puzzles will test your logic and deduction skills.

● 4 possible endings: Bad Ending, Neutral Ending, Good Ending and Secret Ending.

● Full of digital computer-made illustrations by various Italian artists.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback! :D
Unfortunately, the translator did a bad translation... so I delegated a native proofreader to fix it.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience. :(

This game is a lot of fun to play!
The original art style and tilesets drew me in, and let me assure you...they're even better in-game! You can tell that the devs really put a lot of heart into this project, and that makes the experience even better! The story almost feels like if Tim Burton and Guillermo del Toro had created Undertale, and the gameplay (while not exactly new) is engaging. Worth at least one playthrough, and for completionists there are multiple endings to work toward!

Man...
I didn't expect to read a comment like yours here.
I hope to continue the story, this was an episode 0, so it doesn't follow the standard videogames storytelling struct.
I've to study something before to make the sequels (these will be made in other engines and in 3D).
Thanks again for the feedback, but what really counts for me is not to make a perfect game, but to create in the player a strong relationship between himself and my creations (and maybe a day see a fantastic cosplay of one of my characters ahah).

What ending did you unlock?

Yeah, I definitely feel you there! We'd all like to see our creations take off, but whats important is to tell your story. If it resonates with even one person, then you've done your job!

As for my ending...I got the Bad Ending. But that was expected; I normally get the "bad" ending in games like this on my first playthrough, just because I'm trying to play using decisions I'd make if it were really me instead of being thorough.

I hope you'll see the secret ending in some way, by playing it again or on Youtube (if someone will record a walkthrough).
The final ending of my game is the beginning of the sequel, but this one will be made in 3D. :)

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
