Hi, I'm looking for some advice on a game mechanic I was thinking of. So if you remember: in tales of the abyss, there were these circles (Field of Fonons) that appeared on the battlefield after you, a party member or enemy used an elemental spell or attack, and if you used a certain attack on while standing within the circle you'd be able to change the attack into a new move all together.

(Example here, You can stop watching at 1:48)

I want to recreate that but in the form of a percentage gauge that tells you how high or low of a chance you have at getting a much stronger attack. kinda like this:

and the higher the percent the higher the chance of getting a move to trigger. I'd love to hear some thoughts on this and if it could be done in RPG maker.

Thanks in advance!

Game Mechanic Design is for looking at aspects of game play at a more conceptual level. "How do I...?" (implementation) questions belong in the Support forum for the engine you are using.

I've got good news and bad news. The good news is, there aren't any bad news to report. The bad news is, there aren't any good news to report.

Or as others say, yesterday was uneventful.

I am curious that can you "understand/get the point" about what does this place do generally?
