The Eye of Anubis

Hey there, friends!

Do you like Pulp Adventure stories with a touch of Horror?
Do you dislike grinding in RPGs?
Do you enjoy people wearing old fashioned clothing in weather that's entirely inappropriate for it?
Have you ever wanted to go on an old fashioned archaeological expedition, but instead of destroying priceless mummies, priceless mummies destroy YOU?*

*(destruction by priceless mummies not guaranteed)

THE STORY THUS FAR

In June of the year 760, a man by the name of Fassahd arrived in the country of Aveulane. He was tattered, ragged, seemed half-mad with fear and worry, and he claimed that he had uncovered the tomb of an ancient Musari nobleman, Menetnashte. The academics at the University ignored him.Until, that is, Fassahd managed to secure an audience with a junior historian, Prof. Charles Devereux. Devereux, the author of various fashionable pseudo-historical works, was popular in excess of his actual clout in the University. He began to agitate for an expedition to excavate the Tomb of Menetnashte, before robbers got to it. The University ignored him. Then, five months later, the University reversed its ruling. An expedition was being mounted; a call went out for scholars and adventurers of all types. Will you join in the pursuit of glory?

GAMEPLAY

The Eye of Anubis' gameplay consists mainly of exploration and conversation, with investigation segments, puzzles, and the occasional action adventure combat. Look around! Talk to interesting people! Play as a dog! Unravel complex politics and mysteries! Fail at math! Run away from zombies! There aren't many places you can die in this game, but it's still very possible, so be warned!

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
