Hi guys! Munchy Fox here! I couldn't find the answer to my question anywhere!

For the face sets when you're creating your games, what are the main emotions you use? So far I've seen only eight when people create their games, but I was wondering what you guys make for your games.

Hi, sorry this slipped by in the approval queue. I'm actually going to move it to General Discussion since it's about game making.

Thank you. I'm still getting a hang of the topics.

Hmmm it depends, if I have a character who is much more expressive than the rest, they would surely get more emotions for their face sets to signify that. It's the same theory for my stoic characters, they would have the maximum range of emotions their frozen faces would allow them to make even if it would be just 4 expressions.

But I think the most common emotions from what I usually default to would be : neutral (default), happy, sad, angry, confused, scared, confident/hesitant, injured.

Seems like these usually would be enough to cover the general range of emotions in a typical story structure, there would be unlimited variations if you want something more in depth like (happy -> ecstatic) too.

Thank you. This actually helps with this game I'm planning, but since I'm doing the art for the face sets I wanted the main emotions everyone uses.

Munchy Fox, please avoid double posting, as it is against the forum rules. You can review our forum rules here. Thank you.

The problem seems to have arisen because you wanted to reply to more than one person.  However, there is no need to quote whole posts just to indicate who you are answering.  As well as leading to double posting, it makes the page slow to load and to scroll down, especially for those accessing this on their phones.  If you want to make it clear who you are replying to, simply use the @membername convention, like this:

@Munchy Fox

If you have several people to reply to then:

@membernameone  Give your reply here

@membernametwo Add another reply

@membernamethree Another reply

Tagging people like this also has the advantage of letting the person know that you have answered them, if they have that option turned on in their Notification settings.

If you want to quote part of a post, that's fine, and if you need to quote part of more than one post, use the + button bottom left corner of the posts.

Don't forget, aspiring writers: Personality isn't what your characters do, it is WHY they do it.
Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
