The forum subscription has technical issues

I tried to create a forum account just now, obviously I succeeded.

However, I encountered a serious issue in the process: the captcha for the account creation is using a Google API which will be turned off in a few days.

It says in bold red "Expiration Date JJ-MM-YYYY" and to redirect users to the new Google Captcha API. I had to press reload captcha to eventually get a working captcha after 5 failures.

Please investigate this, soon people will not be able to subscribe to the forum any longer.
