While I personally also think its great that people are interested in Space/Time-themed spells, it has been a bit of a dilemma to me because neither concepts are visual in nature. The best solution I can come up with for this is to have different interpretations using various styles. Today's release is one such style. Also note that this is a full-screen animation.

Making space/time animations seems pretty hard (without characters moving around in a side-view system ofc).


Like how would you animate an attack (with just an animation) of a slash that defies space (aka always hits the target no matter how far off the mark).


Or show a character freezing time.  Well you could show the screen inverse that starts in a little circle in the middle and goes outward, but would that work with the way animations are handled in the RPG Maker series currently?


You could have portals with a spear stab out of them in various places around a battler or a black hole like attack.


I think that I got some really creative spells just thinking about these kind of attacks.

I really hope you continue to make space and dimensions animations.


I need some to complete my idea for a Law element (element based on the laws of reality).  I need it to go along with my Soul and Void elements.

p.s. Can you give an animation of just one of the portals in that animation?  Want to make an animation that fires a beam out of a portal and that would be perfect.

Something to use on time base animation, as cliche as it it would be a clock, a clock stop for, aceleraing, slowing or even shattering could be good ideas.


about Space, maybe the use of stars or even if it's possible distorsion...

I feel like some of the original Darkness animations from MV were kind of space-based. One of then was literally a black hole, maybe you could use those as a sort of reference.
