The game closes without throwing errors

Hi I'm AnaMegu and am new to the forum and in the world of RPG Maker VX Ace. The problem that I have specifically is that by giving "game.exe" the game window closes but seconds later without displaying the home screen opens. The problem happens to me with most of the games that opens with RGSS3 Player, only a handful of games that work without this problem. The problem did not have it before, when you install the program and the RTP me running games like The Witch House without problem.

Hmmm...perdón por decirlo pero está un poco difícil de entender tu inglés.¿Queres decir que que los juegos de RM empiezan a funcionar y luego se cierran sólos? ¿Y sólo pasa con algunos?

Si entendí bien a primera vista parecería ser un problema con tu máquina o con los juegos que estas jugando.

Preguntas:

-¿El programa de RPG Maker (si es que lo tenes) abre bien?

-¿Los juegos que no te andan ahora son los mismos que antes si te andaban o el error pasa con algun juego específico?

Hmmm ... sorry to say but it's a little hard to understand your English. You wanna say that RM games start running and then close alone? And only about some?

If I understood correctly at first sight seem to be a problem with your machine or you're playing games.

Maybe it's because I used the google translator (which I do not have much confidence so I am always in doubt whether or not translate well).

What happens is that I run the game.exe, open the window and seconds later it closes without throwing any error happens most RGSS3 Player. The program opens fine and I have no problems opening my old projects. Some are games you've played before this problem and now with this problem not be run in addition to try new to those who feel the same.

It may be my pc but not why since I have not changed or anything, so I wonder now just let me play some.

I don't think I'll be of much help, as I have no knowledge of the inner workings of the program, nonetheless, I have a couple of more question.

Silly question 1: Have you tried reinstalling Rpg Maker and its RTP? There's always the remote chance that something in the program got screwed or that an antivirus or perfomance enhancing software (such as Ccleaner) has erased some vital file.

Silly question 2: Why are you replacing files of your downloaded games? Are you trying to open them looking for a way to solve the issue? In any case, a big part of the game's instructions and files are compressed in the Game.rgss3a, so, aside from hacking it, you won't be able to open the project if the developers didn't mean for you to...

- Pregunta tonta 2: ¿Para qué reemplazaste los archivos de los juegos que descargaste?¿Acaso estás tratando de abrirlos para ver si podes subsanar el problema así? En cualquier caso, gran parte de las instrucciones y archivos del juego están comprimidas en el Game.rgss3a, así que exceptuando algun hackeo de tu parte, no vas a poder abrirlo si los desarrolladores no quisieron dejarlo abierto...

Ermm... getting back on topic. I used Ccleaner as an example of system optimizer, though I haven't actually used that specific program. What I meant to say is that on VERY rare ocassions, system optimization programs would confuse important files for useless ones and mistakenly erase them; but, like I said, it's a very rare ocurrence. I had it happen to me only once in the 6 years I've been using this software.

2. I've played both Dreaming Mary and Witch's House without any inconvenient, so the games shouldn't be the cause of your problem, but....

...I've also played some games that nobody seems to have any problems with, like Wine and Roses and Luxaren Allure (I highly recommend both, if you also enjoy more traditional non-horror rpgs, and dare to jump the language barrier), and had random crashes to desktop without any error messages whatsoever, so personal experiences mean nothing if the problem lies in your computer.

That is why I was thinking that since you mentioned you had some ram issues, maybe both that problem and your game crashes might be connected and it could be a driver or hardware problem. Let's hope that if it has to be one it's the former and not the latter, right?

Ermm... volviendo al tema. Usé Ccleaner como un ejemplo de optimizador del sistema aunque nunca probé ese programa específicamente. Lo que quise decir fue que en MUY raras ocasiones, los programas de optimización del sistema confunden archivos importantes por inútiles y los borran por error; pero, como dije, es algo que ocurre muy rara vez. Me pasó una sola vez en los 6 años que uso un software de estos.

2. Jugué tanto a Dreaming Mary como a Witch's House sin ningún inconveniente, así que los juegos no deberían ser tu problema, pero...

...también jugué algunos con los que nadie parece tener ningún problema, como Wine and Roses y Luxaren Allure (ambos recomendadísimos, si también disfrutás rpgs más tradicionales que no sean de horror, y te animás a saltar la barrera del lenguaje), y tuve cierres al azar sin mensaje de error alguno, así que las experiencias personales no significan mucho si el problema yace en tu computadora.

Es por eso que estaba pensando que ya que mencionaste los problemas de ram que tenías, quizas ambas cosas podrían están conectadas y quizas sea un problema de drivers o de hardware. Esperemos que si tiene que ser alguno sea lo primero, y no lo segundo¿No?

I'm new in the rpg so I do not know many games except those published in this blog, but recently I came across a forum where various genres published games. And when I solve the problem will I see you mention.

The problem of ram doubt, as I said before the ram is the same as when I played the witch's house. On the driver is likely due to a problem I had done about a month with windows update, that one day when I downloaded some updates shooting a download error and then restart lost internet so I had to recover an ancient copy (although not a copy but a record of recent changes made to the pc). It is likely that this is affected because today I discovered a problem with Loquendo, I must download the latest update and have to call the technician to check the pc by this issue because the truth is the first time it happens something like this. I hope it's the fault of the windows update because it no longer could otherwise cause the problem :'(

 

 

<<Soy nueva en lo del rpg por lo que no conozco muchos juegos excepto los que publican en ese blog, aunque hace poco di con un foro donde publican juegos de varios generos. Y cuando solucione el problema veré los que mencionas.

El problema de la ram lo dudo, como dije antes la ram es la misma de cuando jugué the witch's house. Sobre los driver es probable que se deba a un problema que tuve hacer un mes aproximadamente con el windows update, que un día cuando descargaba unas actualizaciones me tiro un error de descarga y luego de reiniciar perdí el internet por lo que tuve que recuperar un antigua copia (aunque no es una copia sino que es un registro de los últimos cambios hechos en la pc). Es probable que ello halla afectado ya que hoy descubrí un problema con el loquendo, debo descargas las ultimas actualización y tendré que llamar al técnico para que verifique la pc por dicho problema porque la verdad es la primera vez que me pasa algo como esto. Espero que sea culpa del windows update porque sino ya no que otra cosa pudo causar el problema :'(>>
