The Ys series has some great boss themes. You can find really good stuff in any of the games, but "The Strongest Foe" from Ys: Oath in Felghana is one of the best.
It's also a good, punchy title for a boss theme.
As opposed to "Strange Encounter" from Rudra no Hihou. Great song though.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... 
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
