This is my first ever game I've created in XP. I've worked long and hard on it; and I hope you enjoythe "beta" demo I've prepared. I would appreciate any form of criticism! Please, help me grow as a developer! There is NO battle system in this game, nor is there any other scripts besides mouse, and lighting.
Story
The Iniquitous Gospel follows the story of Kariah R Thatcher who's soul is damned to a purgatory-state that illustrates her own perdition. After her innocent life comes to a sinister end; we'll embark on a paranormal journey across her psychosis, eternal damnation, and previous existence in order to solve her case. Leading up to the night of her death, and the repercussions of tampering with malevolent forces that takes its toll on generations of Thatchers before her; and after.

The guys at Phantasos Games for giving me wonderful constructive criticism, and pushing me to get this "beta demo" finished!
And anyone else I've may have forgotten!
Thank you for taking the time to check out my game! Please, leave a comment if you enjoyed it, or if you have anything to say! I welcome criticism! I do plan on release a better demo, but for now I've left mistakes in this, so be prepared. The demo is only introducing a tiny bit of the game, characters, and atmosphere.Visit my soundcloud if you dig the music, visit my http://www.writerscafe.org/ profile @ ZeroAtEnd if you dig the writing, and thanks again!
Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
