Hey, Semo here. I decided I'd make this thread to show off my current project. Let me know what you think!

Story:

Many thousands of years ago, the humans shared the

world of Ino with an older race, a race that was immortal

and blessed with fey magic. This race was known as the

Handar.

 

The Handar, in their generosity, blessed the humans

with some of their knowledge.

 

They taught them, guided them, and showed some 

priests and shamans in the tribes how to manipulate

the Mana that saturated the world at that point in time.

 

But the Humans, ever hungry for more, more

knowledge, more power, decided that what the

Handar refused to teach them, they would take

for themselves, by force,

 

But the Humans insatiable greed, and the Handar's

adamant refusal to fill the void that they discovered

lay in the hearts of every man, woman and child of

that race, led to the beginning of a conflict.

 

A conflict that would come to be known to posterity 

as the War Of the Cleansing Flames.

 

For over a millenium, the Human warriors and

shamans crossed blades with the rangers and

dracomancers of the Handar. When encountered

they slaughtered each other with extreme prejudice.

 

When the Humans encountered the last Handar

stronghold, they held nothing back.

 

Within a short space of time, an entire race,

an entire people, an entire culture, were consumed

by the flames of Human aggression, expansion and

greed.

 

3000 years have passed since the end of the 

War Of the Cleansing Flames.

 

Humans, saddened by the loss of Mana that they 

themselves wrought upon the world, pushed the 

boundaries of high technology to replace the lost force.

 

Now the force of Mana is rising again.

 

Dark forces long since vanquished begin to gather, and

in the midst of the maelstrom that is to come, a young

captain in the Royal Guard of West Sidton holds the

key that will decide the future of the world of Ino.

 

This captain of West Sidton's Royal Guard, the

knight upon whom the fate of all of the world of Ino

will soon rest, his name is Aldren Tempest.
