Since I'm here, I'd like to share some thoughts about the game. I think it has a lot of potencial, but there are also a few things missing in order to be drawn into the gameplay. Most important, I think it lacks of sense of accomplishment. Other than making money to pay the rent, I find no motivation to go fishing, gather stuff, mining, etc. Adding sidequest such as errands, collect X type of fish, festivals, etc, and goals (catch X quantity of fish, etc.) would break the monotony and motivate the player to actually do these chores.
Other aspect are the NPCs. They seem to be living in complete isolation, no interaction between each other.
Finally, I find the cooking and crafting system rather useless, since there seems to be little to no economic profit in doing it so, and I can't find any other use for the recipes than selling them. And the crafted items is much simpler to buy them directly.
I've been playing it for about 5 hours, and maybe I'm being hasty with this appreciation, but that's what I think so far.
Sorry if I'm being a bit too rough, I know it's not easy to develop a game, but I guess an honest feedback is what you guys deserve.
