Thank you very much!Game looks so good!
Sorry for the delayed response. I've been so busy working on "new" content that I haven't really had a chance to package up and deploy a new/reworked Demo. I was planning for one in a week or so, but now I don't even know if I'll have a proper block of time to do that.@Guld
Are you going to change the demo file in the near future? (i.e. Poison effect after battle)
Mahalo nui loa.@kimo @Lady_JJ An updated version of Chapter 1 has been quietly uploaded to Itch. I haven't made a public announcement, because I'm still not 100% sure it's bug free, but I thought I'd let you know right away.
Any and all feedback is always welcome. Either here, or DM is good.Mahalo nui loa.
I'll be looking for some bugs to squish. If I find minor spelling or other errors, do you want a screen shot? I'm going to play as the thief character this time.
Looking good. I recognize you as someone I follow on Twitter. If I had a PC I would give it a shot. Finally got around to updating this (all of the image links were bogus). I have sent away my game for some First Impressions Feedback, and will likely have a Demo available for everyone shortly after that (if there is any interest).
Currently around 8hrs of Gameplay I think. I can probably speedrun it in a little under 5.
EDIT: I have been making improvements and adjustments on a daily basis and things are finally starting to come together.
Excellent, I'm glad you are enjoying it.I just finished Jett's "journey" without any glitches or cock-a-roaches (aka bugs). I played with a very different party than the first time, and it just as enjoyable. The game seemed shorter this time for some reason. I was much better with the row-based battle system and just had to pay attention to various character comments. Congrats on what is going to be a great game. Now I want to play the womanizing cleric's role.
Just a few comments for you.
For some reason, both versions of your game are identified as malware by Malwarebytes software and gets quarantined. Other games are sometimes flagged because of low user history, or other reasons by Norton. Malwarebytes uses different algorithms and is typically highly reliable. Maybe you know the reason?
Vass’s Skill "Input" field is an excellent choice which I don’t remember from before. New for this version? It’s a shame other characters don’t have the sequence behind their timed skills (at least for a skill with no keystroke variability). Also, what happens further in the game if Johan refuses to heal Vass when Vass is first encountered? After all, Vass is integral to the plot.
Armor:
Banded Cap vs. Mythril Helm (Medium vs. Heavy). No reason to buy heavy helm if stats are the same, the character can wear both, and price is the same. The Mail body armor made of similar materials has differences that make sense. As you know, one of the typical trade-offs for heavy armor is a reduction to the character's speed in exchange for a significant DEF increase.
Glad to hear.Playing as Raven, just arrived in Westwell. All looks good so far.
Is there any advantage to interacting with each and every water site, as in not missing any, where Raven hears voices?
Good call. I like option 1 and will implement it ASAP.Continuing to play as Raven...
Goblins come at low, partial health. If you do a multi-attack, it is possible to kill all 3 goblins in the first round, then the Blade retreats and the ladies seem quite happy that 'the Blade is free!' This now doesn't make sense as it bypasses the info dialogue immediately following the first round where one of the ladies (I forget which one) recognizes that the goblins are actually forcing the Blade to fight. There should be a way to either (1) not kill the goblins in the first round, thus ensuring the info dialogue is played out or (2) moving the info dialogue up to the beginning of round 1 rather than the end of round 1.
AMAZING!Ambush: Update (Narshe Battle)
