The game was okay, but I wouldn't say it's one of the best games ever.  Gameplay was of your typical shooters with cover-based combat and didn't really push the boundries.  The game was also very short and I wasn't about to drop $15 on a few more hours of gameplay.

The story was too predictable, in my opinion.  It's pretty much just heading from point A to point B with every new objective, and practically everyone you meet is jerk that wants to kill you.  You spend more time fighting angry men than you do fighting zombies.  I laughed at the parts where you would overhear enemies talking to each other and saying things like "These two have already killed over a hundred of our men," so lets send a hundred more to their deaths instead of just ignoring them.  You would think that during a zombie apocolyse people would be more willing to work together instead of mindlessly throwing away their lives at some guy and a kid who aren't even interested in fighting.

Edit: "rear end in a top hat?"  What kind of censoring is that!

I have to say the opening scene for TLOU was really well done. Unfortunately everything else that followed was way too predictable, the gameplay was pretty mediocre, and the multiplayer was completely unnecessary. Decent game, but incredibly overrated.

It is probably one of the best games story and character wise from the last couple of years, but even in that category I can name games that I like more if we start talking about historically (Nier & Knights of the Old Republic II just to name two).

I will agree with Confederacy though. The opening is SUPERB.

I thought the most overrated game of all time was Final Fantasy VII. Game's good, the opening made me cry a bit.

I should give this game a try. It came with my PS4 but have never tried it. I saw some hot chick look like that Page girl in a bra looking for clothes. That was the sum of what I got from the game.

I find it impossible to think of her in that way seeing as how the relationship between Joel and Ellie is one of fosterhood.
