Hello everyone !


I've started to develop this new project on RPG Maker VX Ace. As you could guess on the title screen, this game is developped in French. However, it will be released almost simultaneously in English so I wanted to present it to you to get your feedbacks and maybe to capture your interest


This project will be completely free, contrary to other projects of mine which will be released later. It is meant to be short, but not too short : probably around 10 hours of gameplay.


This will be a traditional RPG with an ATB system (as in Final Fantasy 6 and 7)


The story


It is already written but there will be adjustments so I don't want to say too much. Let's say it could be a mix of movies like the matrix or the truman show, but set in a fantasy-style world. There will be deceptions and moments of epiphany.


The characters





Theseus : he is the hero of the story. When the story begins, he has taken a big blow to the head and his memory has become a little fuzzy.





Daedalus : the companion of the hero. He can use magic, which makes him exceptional in the world of Saneterre, as humans are not supposed to be able to do that.





Ariadne : A young female elf who will be found on a beach at the beginning of the game. She suffers memory loss, which makes her feel very close to the hero, who suffers from the same problem. As her memories come back, she will help the hero realize that the world he is in may hide some very dark truths.


You will have realized, of course, that the names are a reference to the greek mythology. This is not an accident and will serve a purpose in the story.
