Story
In 2020, the Earth is in danger. Our to-be-heroine is away in her sleeping domain where she was trapped. People are already screaming for help. All of countries are down because of the destroyed governments. The new organization, which calls themselves “The Organization,” is the new governing group.

Around the world, odd creatures are popping up one by one. Most poses the threat to the Earth and people. People are trying to defend themselves. They are trying to find the source. Who started all, and what caused this?

Dangerous world, before the world was in peril around 2019, as the to-be-heroine called it. She was so stubborn about everything. She used to be so independent and brave, and got a lot of courage to be herself. Until she started hearing the voice. “Help me… Help me… They are coming… You're only the one who can...” That was what the voice said. She also kept getting odd dreams, even during day, where she sees herself in another land that's otherworldly. Since then, she shut herself out of the world and never came out of her room. That's when the rumor started. Everyone is calling her “dark woman.” It means she is stubborn, but also pure evil, who will devour everyone once she lays her eye on one.

Inside these dreams, the to-be-heroine acts like a man who were trying to stop someone from going dark. Is this someone… a friend to this “voice” that she kept hearing?


Characters
There are lot of characters that are going to be added, however, majority of them will not be here. You will need to discover them yourself, as there are character information stored in the journal.

Amarante | 17 | Female
The protagonist. Beautiful young woman. She is very smart, and also very deeply dark. Her name comes from french and it means a flower that perishes until it's gone, or so she thought.

Chris | 18 | Male
Amarante's best friend (and still is). Yet he loves technology so much when nowadays no one likes it.

Hujiculi
An odd race who meant no harm to people. (Single: Hujiculus)

The Organization
The new governing group. Their purpose of the organization is to eliminate all problems as possible that are causing lately around the world. They are very smart and very friendly, but have some secrets.


Utrea


A leader of the Organization, with an odd name. She is oddly both beautiful and scary at the same time.

Features

• Bunches of NPCs
  A lot of NPCs have a lot to say. They often have something that will aid you in your quest. Or help with their demise.
  
  
• Characters with Mysterious Pasts
  All characters have a mysterious past that they will never, ever share. Interact with them to learn their stunning pasts.
  
  
• The Camp
  Throughout Amarante's quest, you will often rest in the camp. In camp, you can interact with your party members. Either learn their past, chit-chat, or even play a mini game. Sometimes, along with the story, something happened in the camp.
  
  
• Side Quests
  Again, throughout Amarante's quest, you will often encounter important side quests. Side quests are really important as they will make Amarante stronger and smarter before she faces her final fate.
  
  
• The Journal
  The most important thing in Amarante's quest. Together with her, you will collect information that will aid you. What recorded in her journal are story, characters, enemies, and such. They do not appear at the beginning, so you must discover them yourself.
  
  
• Multiple Currencies
  You get two currencies which will be used differently for a certain service. The normal currency, which is BitCoin (or BIT for short), will be used for the normal services. The otherworldly currency, called gold, will be used for the otherworldly services.
  
  
• Otherworldly Places
  You'll visit places that aren't normal. Though you probably will find something interesting there.

Hmm... since there's no playable demo or screenshots, it's kinda hard to give any useful feedback atm.

From the description in the feature list though, I assume this is a story-centric experience?

I guess you have the premise of the game ready and figured out for yourself. Reading what you gave us though, it is very scattered. I couldn't really grasp anything. So if you'd clarify the synopsis and the premise a bit, it would be very helpful in feeling what is this about

Also careful with your grammar. Here on the forum it is forgivable. I screw up every now and then too but bad grammar in-game is a serious turn off.

Their purpose of the organization is to eliminate all problems as possible that are causing lately around the world.

If this is your first project as you said, don't try make something big. Start small. If you go for something big right away, the chance of you finishing it decreases significantly.

As for the demo/screenshots/videos, I will put them up as soon as the progress is about 20%. Right now it's like 2%, because I only completed the starting maps and only one area of the town... There are not enough enemies, and only after the starting maps there's hardly story...

As for the synopsis, yes I know it is very scattered. Right now it is what I have but I will be sure to clarify it once I thought of a better one. The mostly basic point of this story, as you can see in the first post, is focused on Amarante.

EDIT: I know too well about my grammar skills. Don't worry, I had help. There, at least, should be low chance that there will be a lot of grammatical errors in-game.

Updated the first post. I just added two new features to the list, and alerted the story. There's new character information as well.

Now working on the game to redesign the starting point to match the story. When finished, I will be sure to post first screenshots!

Hmm, a word of warning regarding Moogles and Munny. I would discourage using these two because of their very strong connections to Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. If this was a fan-game I'd understand. Yes they are pretty cool names but I'd still very strongly suggest coming up with something else. The uniqueness of the game suffers greatly.

The premise of the game is much better now. It is not as scattered as the first draft

This is meant to be a crossover game, so yeah you can say it is a fan game.

Regarding that this is a crossover game, it will take some time so I just decided to work on new small project that is prequel to this title. It is called Amarante Meets Animatronics. It is based on Five Nights at Freddy's.

For time being, this title is on hold for a while until I'm finished with AMA (Amarante Meets Animatronics). But be sure to still look out for any upcoming updates to this title!

Due to the crossover idea being not a great idea, I've decided to take that out. This includes the Moogle creatures. They will be replaced with custom species. Thanks to @taistelusopuli I was able to alter the idea. Most of features and story are still kept, so nothing had changed, just expect for crossover features.

The first post will be updated once I've decided to what changes or stays.

Added new feature to the list and edited credits. Thanks to Yanfly, I was able to expand the game! ;-)
The style of this game had changed dramaically as well, thanks to the new artist, Ækashics! (╯✧▽✧)╯

Today, The Life of Amarante got the new logo, permanently! I also worked on concepts for the game, and they will be shown in the first post or in this post.


However, there are a few little changes to the storyline, but it's mostly same so it's fine.
