Thank you ash55, your project (if its the one I think it is on reddit) looks absolutely amazing. I can appreciate how much work you're putting into it.

Thanks Zanazaru :) I'm glad you like!

This update, I have added a section at the end of the post for those of you who may be interested in becoming alpha testers.

Please read the Alpha Test section if you are interested!

Thank you!

Bumping with a sample cutscene background :)

Also, just a reminder that alpha testing is in progress. If you are interested please check out the main post!

I'll also be updating the screenshots section tonight!

Quick little bump hoping you all had a great holiday and wishing everyone a happy new year!

Been quite busy this week with the family, as I am sure most of you are.

Still, managed to get some work done on the next area, still a WIP and this picture only makes up for 1/3rd of 1 map of the new area.

Enjoy! I look forward to bringing you all more content in the next update now that things have slowed down IRL.

This looks wonderful!

The art style gives off a really comforting vibe that I feel matches really well with the synopsis you gave.

I also really enjoy the character design. It's nice to see animal characters that are still animals... Especially the girls that don't look like human girls with ears and a tail.

Thank you amaSenpai!

Though the characters are animals, they have very human personalities. I look forward to showing off more of their dialog!

For now, here is a sprite for Hunter the Husky.

I've also updated the screenshots section to include this new sprite.

This looks like such a charming game! I love how stylized everything is - and Cleo's sprite is adorable!

Just stumbled upon this project, but I have to say I'm very impressed. It looks so cute and fun. Did you get any inspiration from Undertale by any chance? Anyways, keep up the great work. I'll be paying attention and eagerly awaiting its completion.

Been sick but I still managed to update the main post with a new gif!

We will be officially moving to the project development forum on the first of Feb! I'll be sure to provide a link here when that happens.

Thanks! It takes quite a while and a lot of page flipping to get the movement where you want it, heh. I appreciate the comments.

My hope is that when it's released, everyone will have as much fun playing it as I've had making it :). Your excitement and appreciation for my work motivates me, thank you!

Thanks again!

I loved Undertale and thought that it did so many things right. Because I enjoyed the game so much, and it was created by a small team, it really inspires me to push through any doubts and worry I may have and complete my project. Toby Fox was an excellent musician and appreciated the minimalist pixel art style, I'd like to think that my style of graphics is slightly different (more cartoony), but still inspirted by great games like Undertale. Glad to have you on board! Can't wait to show ya more!

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
