Visited America a while ago and decided that I wanted to try some strange American flavors of things. Cherry coke? Very good! Vanilla Coke? Not so much...

I'm Texan and from the city that makes Dr Pepper, so I may be a little biased. ;)

But Vanilla Coke is still amazing and definitely my favorite Coca Cola product. Basically, any vanilla-flavored soda tastes like Heaven's Elixer to me (yes, even the oh-so sweet Cream Soda~!).

Asbestos has a superior, it seems.

While we're talking about lethal poisons we probably have in us, cyanide is one of my favourites!
    >Cherry Seeds
    >Strawberry Seeds

Things some of us eat on a regular basis.

It's such a small amount it's unlikely to kill you before heart failure does but...
Interesting to know, considering this is the same poison used for suicide pills.

Also Nutmeg, the consumption of five cloves is enough to kill a grown human adult.

My ultimate reaction to when I hear about this sort of thing is to not worry.

If you go about life doing all you can to preserve it, you're missing out on what life is all about, the enjoyment of it.

On the vanilla coke thing, it's okay I guess, but generally I've become less into soda in my age. When i did like soda, Traditional Lemonade, Sour Watermelon Fanta and Dr Pepper were among my high ups. Bubblegum Flavor Schweppes was also pretty good.

But now it's chocolate milk, that stuff is my weakness!

Me: "NEVER, IN A MILLION YEARS, WOULD I ATTEND A PARTY HOSTED BY THAT PIG-NOSED GUTTERSNIPE!"
Partygoer: There will be Chocolate Milk.
Me: "YOU HAVE CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT THIS, SUDDENLY."

Whaaa...? How...? Where can I find it... It's not sold in Portugal... I want to taste Vanilla Coke!
The world is unfair. Poor me. I'll die without ever tasting Vanilla Coke.
Heaven's Elixir, because it sounds like a pleasant dream to me... :kaocry:

I think it's saying something when an island walled off from the rest of the world by 2500 nautical miles of gosh darn ocean can get Vanilla Coke when somewhere only a few (quite long) trains trips south of the states can't.

Try the cities though, like the BIG ones. I lived in some backwater dump most of my life but the moment I moved into the city I could get Dr Pepper.

I live in a big city T.T I live in the freaking main city, Lisbon, where there is no Vanilla Coke... The closest place where favoured coke is sold would be in spain, and the only flavour there is lemon Coke:kaocry:
I'm so sad... So unfair... Thanks for the tip tho. Wait, what is Dr. Pepper? What the hell am I losing here?!?

    Geez, you are missing out!

Also maybe I'm stammering Geographically, isn't Portugal in Southern America, and Spain in Europe?

If you ever end up taking a trip to the U.S. you'd be able to get it there.

    Yeah :kaocry:

XD no Portugal is a country next to Spain. So Portugal is in Europe too. I'm portuguese, not brazilian. Not that I have something against it, I'm just proud of my nation :kaopride:I'm mean, I was until I found out that we don't have Vanilla Coke or Dr.Pepper...

I hope that too! Then I'll stack hundreds of drinks and bring them home (too bad airports wouldn't allow it XD)

If you're really desperate you could probably get them shipped over via some online service. Anything can be obtained, for the right price, of course!

There's a few things I've been near tempted to do that with.... but then I moved to the city and they have everything I want. That Jaffa flavor breaka was great while it lasted. It was a limited promotional thing, though. :(

Dr Pepper is actually a British invention, so getting it shipped over shouldn't be too costly considering it's just across the channel.

Vanilla Coke, I honestly don't understand with Coca Cola's monopoly how it isn't just everywhere at this point.

At this point, I've pretty much given up soda, except for a very rare treat. (I had one whole glass of Coke at Easter.) But I like Vanilla Coke. My favorite is Coke with Lime, but you can only get that (as far as I can tell) in those fancy machines where you can pick any of like 200 Coke products. One of the burger restaurants nearby used to have one before it went under, and I used to love that.

I've always wondered why more places don't have those awesome machines... And then lines form behind them because no one can pick what flavor they want. That's half the fun, though! :p

We can buy diet coke with lime at our stores, but not regular lime coke (unless we're at those fancy machines). As a calorie-counter, I like to try a lot of diet drinks for the least bad ones, and so far vanilla coke zero is my favorite. Let's see if diet coke lime can change that! ;)

I can get Diet Coke with Lime. Which is where I first tried it, and for me, it makes Diet Coke palatable. At this point, though, I find it easier to just stick to water. Less temptation to switch up the soda from diet to regular.

Not my top pick, but I would drink it over a good amount of soda.

Vanilla coke is the sheep. If it's available I take it over any other coke flavor.

Carbonated drinks are fire. No really, they incinerate my tongue. So I don't drink them. So I hate Vanilla Coke.
