Dude I love vanilla coke! it's horrible for a condition I have but eeee i miss it!
@bgillisp yeah I guess it could have been the norovirus that caused my stomach pain. I do have a lot of health problems, a heart condition as well as a disease to do with my stomach. I've also got a problem with my throat now... I can hardly speak, even a sentence takes so much effort it's a nightmare! Anyway, so if I had the norovirus it's possible that it could have been made worse by that? I may have a Cola tomorrow, just to give it a test to see how it is. Hopefully I'll be ok. The last time I had one, even a sip caused severe pain in my stomach, so tomorrow I'll have a sip and see what happens...!@Senatris : That sounds more like the norovirus, which is a stomach virus which lasts about 24 hours and gives you severe stomach pain. Probably not the drink that caused it, but instead exposure to someone else who has it, or exposure to contaminated water (which if the water in the drink was contaminated, that would do it).
It's also VERY contagious.
Sorry to hear you had the norovirus, I hope you're feeling a lot better now!! Sending you a get well hug!If a sip caused problems you might be allergic to a chemical in it, so I'd not do the test. And I thought I heard ulcers don't like pop in general, but don't quote me on that. The only reason I suggested norovirus is I am recovering from it now. Worst 24 hours of your life.
Though maybe your doctor could test you for to see why it caused a problem in a safe way?
