All I'm happy about is that she went into the avatar state. It's all I wanted to see. It felt like a such an asspull though.

I hope the Masami vs. Makorra would end for good here. They have a lot more to focus on than some recycled plots >_< And Bolin needs more screen time, because most of the time I forgot he was even there And Iroh. Oh God Iroh ;A;

Same, I don't know why but I'm totally Bolami, I just want Bolin to be happy and Asami deserves it!

I can see Asami turning into just another tag-along character with no real importance to the story or romantic sub-plot. Kind of like Toph (her crush on Sokka doesn't count). Plus her 15 minutes in the spotlight came when she fought her father. I don't want her to fade away into lame sidekickness, but it's just how I see it happening...

Like Toph? Toph had TONS of importance the adaptation of the complete rest of the series, I don't understand, Toph was very important.

Sorry. I meant to say that Toph didn't have any big romantic subplot. I didn't mean that she wasn't important to the story. I kind of phrased it wrong... :/

Oh right haha, sorry for being a bit harsh too, it would have been your opinion either way. Yeah, I felt sorry for Toph that way, furthermore Lin's dad is unknown. It goes to show even off screen, love wasn't working for her. Oh Toph my poor baby.

It would be funny if Toph ended up with someone of a complete opposite nature. I can see it now...

Random thought just popped into my head. What if Toph ended up with the Cabbage merchant?! That would have been epic.

I would love to see more back story on all of the past characters, I'm guessing the producers didn't want to talk about them heavily because they wanted the focus on Korra etc, but it still would have been nice. I just wanted to see everyone who was alive and their children...

Haha, NO! It would have been epic but Toph deserves better!

I hope the big romantic subplot for Toph will come with the last part of The Promise. For all we know, Tokka might become canon and Suki might fall for Zuko ~

Man, I tell you, when Amon took Korra's bending, I was just so sad. I almost teared. Then when Amon's brother blew up the boat, I was so shocked and proud at the same time that he realized that his bro needed to be stopped.I love Avatar. The ending was absolutely great. She got her bending back. Woo!

I'm so glad I made the time to watch this series.

One thing that popped into my head that I'm sure other people are thinking of: make an Avatar RPG. This could be a community project. ...No? Too much work?

Great news guys. I just heard that the 2nd season is going to have 24-26 episodes! I'm on my phone right now so I can't give you any sources at the moment but I'm sure Google will help you there.

I forgot to comment now that I got to see the first season of LoK.

I really enjoyed it (so did the wife and kids). I hope that in season two they really develop the characters more like they did in the first series. Can't wait for season 2.

Well, seeing as everything "wrong" in the 1st season was because of the lack of time and episodes, I'm sure that season 2 will be MUCH better (not that I disliked season 1). I just want to know who'll be the main antagonist...

Wrongo, Book 2 will be 14 episodes long, Book 3, 13 episodes long, and Book 4 (OMFG YES THEY'RE DOING A BOOK 4!!!) will be 13 episodes long also. They've done the episodes this way as Nickelodeon has moved back to 26 episode long seasons so they had to conform to it. Book 1s 12 Eps will be added to Book 2s 14 and so on.

My thoughts after finishing Legend of Korra:

After watching the new series, I still prefer the old series to the new one. The characters, story, jokes etc etc just seemed a lot better to me. However, that doesn't mean I disliked Korra or anything. Bolin, Tenzin, his kids, Asami, Lin and Amon were great characters, and the humorous parts made me laugh still.

I enjoyed Amon's part the most, though. Even though it was pretty predictable for me, it was a great direction for the show. I don't think I could have enjoyed Amon if he didn't have a real, personal motive for his actions. It never directly tells us why he did what he did—if I'm wrong, please tell me!—but I like to think he wanted to "equalize" the world for two reasons 1) because Aang took his father's bending away 2) so he could rule supreme over everyone else.

I hope he didn't really die in the explosion though. That would have been way too rushed and lazy.

I should rewatch though, 'cause I've already forgotten some pieces of the show.
