@SwarleyPilgrim I don't think the middle goes with the design at all, I'd take the design, put it through a threshold filter so it only has black/white or vectorize the actual design, then I'd make it brown to match the logo color, also there are parts of the image that are off center, i'd fix that as well

@KanaX Those look pretty good, the main one i'd edit is the floral couch, the colors look muddy to me, maybe more contrast?  and the couch itself feels too flat to me, the others look good though.  The red/purple armoire looks neat, but it doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the set, it looks much more saturated than the other parts, but maybe it has a specific purpose I'm not aware of?  I love the bookcases and the brown hutch :)

@KanaX Wow those are pretty tiles!

I'm currently into Visual Novels resources right now, I was planning on creating more Backgrounds like this, but not so many people create VNs this days.

@cosmickitty Thank you very much and sorry for not replying earlier. The armoire is indeed a bit too gaudy; Sharm had some issues with it too. I basically wanted to make something that would go in a little girls' room. I might remove completely and just use it for my own project. Or just stick it among some other miscellaneous tiles.

The amount of decoration is fine but the colors clash.  If you altered the colors a bit it could still be brightly colored and look good.

@KanaX if it's for a little girls room I'd go for soft pink/purple colors, i like the design it's just psychedelic colored :D

I've moved this thread to Art, Literature and Music (General Resources is for posting resources to share, not getting feedback/help when making them). Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Uh, actually @Shaz, this isn't the right place either.  A,L&M is kind of an off topic area.  It belongs either in the Resource WIP thread or Product Discussion and Support > Time Fantasy/OSM (It looks like the OSM fence, but it could be original).

Deklaration, just let me know which one and I'll merge or move it as needed.

It's actually an original, but it's really similar. I guess a re-design is needed!
So, I think this thread should be at the "Resource WIP" if the "Resource" section was wrong in the first place. But I'm very uncertain at this point.

Thanks @Sharm - I'd forgotten there was a WIP thread.

Merged.

It looks to me like one of the corners is misaligned.  I have the hardest time remembering which piece does what when doing fences.  Make a plus sign with the fence, the middle will have the corner pieces exactly how they'd be placed in the top right of the autotile.  That should make it a little easier to figure out which one is in the wrong spot.

Had time to work on Vegeta's head today.

He'll fill the entire frame, but his body will be much lower than characters that normally fill that frame.  That's just due to his abnormally tall hair "I tried making it smaller but it just didn't look any good"

Edit:

Fixed his eyebrows.

Indeed looks good like all of yours, sadly can't give feedback. I don't understand much about sprites/spriting.

I've recently started working on some sprites using Candacis' MV Sprite + and was hoping for some feedback as I'm new to spriting.

Fairly pleased with how he's turned out so far, but wondering about the contrast / shading and how that looks once he's in game. Any tips / feedback?

He's looking a bit stiff, but I'm not sure how best to fix that.  Maybe a little more flow and flair on the cape, so it's not just straight down?  The colors are a little dull, if you add in a little more hue to the shadows and up the contrast between shades a little I think it'd be good.

This looks awesome :D I quite recognize son goku :) You are really catching the style of dragon ball :D im excited what you are going to do with your ressources

@Rukir, Chaos17i: Sadly i don't really know what i shall do to get a better result with my tiles or better said with the chars. Do you think i just have to correct the colors of the characters to make it fit? I will try but i dont think that this is the main problem, i thought it would be that those are more mv style and the tileset is entirely custom style
The difference between the the 2 styles doesn't help, that's for sure.

Vegeta is not a tall character, so making him shorter fits nice the frame you may use, filling the top space with his hair. Do you have any topic or blog about your project? I'm always interested in anything Dragon Ball.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
