OK , sorry for my mistake .
I'm working on a character base so i'll post it here. I'm new to pixel art so please be as harsh as need be.
@Zanshoo, those are super adorable! I'm glad more people are making chibi battlers because they're so cute and fun, but one problem is I never want to kill them XD
I'd recommend, since the battlers are simple, to give them animations. It makes them way more fun. And animations are even fun to make. I made some for my battlers which are similar in chibiness to yours and it makes them like 10x better
Trying to fix up the vampire. Based it off of the VX boss sprite, for POP horror.
@Stridah: Thank you, I'll make sure to try that out right now. c: Should the color I'll be using for the darker brush the same as the darkest shade of the tree? Oh and by the way, I think your tavern gives off the "just starting out" vibe because of the unorganized barrels and boxes. (Which is a good thing )
First attempt. I really need some input on trees, because I have zero experience.

everything looking good. nice shapes, nice texture, nice colors, nice contrast. from my point of view i can come up with some suggestions for subtle corrections: - the perspective would be a bit more from top. it looks too much like a tree from the side. so you could make the trunk more compressed in height (sry just saying "smaller" would be wrong^^) or help out with a semi transparent shadow. you could also get the light direction from having a look at the standard tileset's trees, rocks, ect and try to adjust it on your leaves.
[ for perspective issues i can recommend getting a 3d program (like blender). there you can set up a scene containing a simplified tree (out of a cylinder and a sphere) and a directional light source - all that in under a minute. from there you can always use it as a shape- and lighting-reference from any different angle you like]

I don't know more what to do.
With this angle and FOV, your pillars should be quasi-round everywhere. Instead, the ones on the sides look a little too warped.
I tried to find a similar view for reference:
The rounded top parts look roughly the same.
The top of the tree may be too bright, but since I don't know where and what is the light source, I don't know if it's okay like this.
Also, at the base of your stairs, on ground level, there are small marks of a shadow but I'm not sure what this is. I think it'll look better without them.
Making a circular room is very hard unless you redraw yourself a lot. And even then, there are many ways to draw it wrong. I hope I didn't sound too negative, I would certainly have done a far worse job!
I'd like some opinions on which design is best for this party member he's meant to be a fox but I've changed him to a racoon
I have some sprites of him as a Fox to see how he'd look but also how he'd look as a racoon and I can't decide which ones better to use in the game
opinions would be helpful thanks btw he's the user of the element of nature so I tried to make his clothes look grass and forest like

I was messing around with the generator's new stuff and made some things of people from my project in disguise like they'd not be aloud to be seen and thought of to of been defeated so while looking around trying to get some answers they dress in a disguise to not be seen
What do you think? this isn't canon as wanted some opinions first but could proberly be canon
Yuito and Shika would be together and getting answers around town by seeing where scrolls are and like how to beat a boss
Nariko would be apart from them as the party will of split up and she's looking for Yuito

@Zanshoo I think you have to make it darker.
That looks really good to me, @Zanshoo! I don't think the lines are too bright. You can make them a bit darker. but if you made them too much darker, they'd be too harsh.

Hi everybody! Check it out some progress on Yoshiwara map:
Started tinkering with a new base sprite, heavily influenced/based upon @Perihelion's older template from elsewhere. It's a 24px base sprite, and will either used as is, or scaled up by 2x, so I'll attach a magnified version too.

Could this be...? My own style starting to form? : O Maybe... I just was drawing a character named Cassius again and played with some of the face and body porportions went a bit more cartoony.... well I did this with four other characters! : D
