it does look more like a giraffe to me, but it has no rear legs. http://www.keyword-suggestions.com/Z2lyYWZmZSBmcm9udCB2aWV3/ just google giraffe front view, and you will see you can't see the butt of a giraffe in that view ;)  but it needs rear legs for the walking I think. But I don't know how they walk, maybe watch youtube videos of how they walk for inspiration.

@Kanax it's just the front at the moment. I'm struggling with perspective too. I'm looking at other animals, and a lot seem to be from front+above, but I can't seem to get it, so I've got a lot multiple layers of giraffe butts, some with legs some without. I think giraffe walking takes more than 3 frames, which is what I'm trying to stick to.

also, how do I tag people so it goes blue?

@Rachelsaurus you're still giving it an apple butt :p  giraffes have narrower rears.. I do think with it's slopes you would not even be able to see it from the front.

YAY!  That's my kind of giraffe!  That's really more like it (I would pick the first).

To tag someone, you type @ first and start the person's username and a box with a list of similar handle of usernames will open up and providing you didn't started up with a typo, you'll be able to click the right name and it'll autocomplete blue.

@chungsie: doesn't look like an aztec pyramid to me. the pyramids are usually flat while I see yours round at the front.

Also, make it bigger! Or is it a world map tile?

@rachelsaurus: B is way better imo.

@blue shift: Hmmm can't see the marble or the wood texture on your walls. Would like to see your characters cuz they might fit in perfectly, it  alls depends on the style, imo.

Well, since I got soooo many nice revies for my "high terrain" tiles (sarcasm) i'm gonna assume they are good and will leave them there.

I've made someother tiles. Do they look good? Hope I get a lot of answers for this one like before cuz I really need feedback... Thanks.

XD I thought a wee bit of the same.  Maybe running or fighting or dancing?

(Just looked at it again and being mime too... It feels that she is trying to break up our monitors to run away!)

@c0sa, your trees are suffering from something called eyeburn. There's a great explanation of the problem and how to fix it over at Pixeljoint.

    Hi there,

I have a little issue with my air duct in my game

I dont know exactly how to pixel an air duct or how the perspective etc has to be.

Does anybody know how to do this or where I can find good pixel art references to air ducts?

Below is a screenshot, hope that helps.

    Thank you very much,

dont know exactly what you want , did you just find it strange and wanted to ask why ?

is the air duct so big that you can stand on it ? , if not just draw the character to crawl position .

Yes I'll add a crawl charset when I've done this

but yeah, it looks so strange and wrong to me, especially the perspective.

@Matt Mats I've merged your topic with the WIP thread, the best place to get feedback on resources you are creating.

Hey, i want this sprite do be checked for errors or inconsistencies, she's also an important character so her sprite has to be absolutely maximalized.
The closest I can describe her as in general terms a time themed spellblade. Made it into the holder format because i feel like its the easiest

to make a variety of behaviors in it. support her well being with valuable feedback pls :D

@c0sa it was my take on temple... but then research showed that temples were more for ritual in Aztec culture, however it does match the description of Aztec schools; as I have learned and possibly others do not know, is the Aztec had compulsory universal education. Houses had two functions and came with a second building; houses were for praying and eating and sleeping, and the second building was the private/family bathhouse. but those were more adobe in nature. probably I will have to recolor to granite.

First time actually getting into the grits of the pixels as I am trying to make larger sprites as a test of older things. It has been around 4 hours or so... my eyes are starting to go cross at this point... the arms and the legs were not really done... but looking at it now I think the shoulder pads are to small that might help a bit if I make them bigger. Was considering trying to put in an "elbow-pad" to make the arms look better, but perhaps if I expand the soldier pads they wouldn't look so bad... The legs though... oh god the legs. I don't even know right now... Those are a tomorrow project...

Any suggestions would be helpful since this is as I said literally my first time playing around with spriting. I used Candacis' (sp?) MV Sprites+ as the base... and pretty much took the helmet wholesale from the MV Update 2k3 RTP. I pulled the armor for the chibi version over and had it sitting beside the sprite so I could look at it while I worked on spriting the armor/clothing.
