Steelfight:
They look like great watercolors if that is the style you are aiming for, it especially works well with the ocean backdrops for me.
If it was for a more realistic style it'd be like a dream sequence, or a comic book. Fae forest would work for an anime battlescene, maybe on a lighter realm/area/plane/dream, it stands out. Isolated island, I don't think the background blended as well into the style as the others, but I preferred the color tones. The clouds on it work though, its just the hills; also it was good to try to get a bit more color in to break up the heavy blue emphasis of the others. Nothing wrong with having a lot of blue, but something to vary it like the island and fae one is needed, maybe some sun if you do another one?
I did a quick bullseye target upload in Daz to get to grips with it. Let me know which is more realistic to the eyes! Left or Right
Easier than model poses to start with, aiming at a 45 degree angle, seems to sit alright what do you think? I tried a much larger 3d render of a building 350+ width, and it seem to sway left and right when I made it 2D, maybe the camera needs some adjustment. Any ideas on why bigger renders do that? The edges seemed to bend outward.
