None of the default will work - wrong colours, wrong textures, everything. well.
I hear ya. Things tend to be too bright and saturated by default, but I do like what you've done for the custom work. It's a struggle to edit or customize things more so than it is to actually map with the resources. I feel like we're just given templates for our own sometimes.
Some new DS resources I am working on for my next project a detective adventure game:
Firefighter, and khakis (car keys) police officer.
This template is for a wheel chair bound main character.
I'm also working on getting a common event to show a wipe every time a puzzle is introduced to the player ala professor Layton:
So far I am still working out how to make the common event etc to go with it so I don't have to put it manually into
every event. This is a photo shop mock up with a screen shot.
I'll have Luna Engine working with a custom layout menu and sample for the UI sometimes before next year. Until then it's filling in the gap for Sci fi and modern resources we don't have.
