Both ways are ok...

Isometric and so the projection wich is associated is a way to convert things with equal distance, no matter the angle used.

Each step is an isometric projection then :

Have another world map tile for feedback.

This one is mostly just an edit of existing tiles, but some things are custom.

It is still a work in progress, but I just wanted to know if it was worth moving forward on.

but I think the big rtp tree looks a bit too big and the house below it is blurred, therefor not really fitting with the other ones

And I think I'd move the church on the right (above the lake) a bit down, it somehow seems as if its "inside" the wall behind it...

Same for the house in the upper left corner

I'm not quite sure why her breasts would bounce at Low HP when she's not even moving. Just the blinking would be fine.

Yeah, I agree with Celianna. Her breasts seem to have a mind of their own, and are moving around like they are trying to get away from her to battle by themselves (that is a joke of course). Joking aside, i would like to see her trying to catch her breath, seeing as she is tired from the battle and is hurt. That would require her whole chest to move instead of just her breasts, so i am not sure how hard that would be to do.

I've decided to start trying to make some tiles.

This first set is inspired by Architecture around town.

The tile below is part of my first "set" which will allow replication of a building across the street from my place.

Edit: Just in case my tiles are that bad... the tile below is a window and the one below it is an end window and a column. They're not used as normal windows... they are to be put side-to-side and top-to-bottom. That is, the entire "wall" of the building is made up of these tiles. It is essentially an office building.

I've also modified a good deal of tiles (Some of celianna's and some RTP). It started, because I'm working on a game that starts in Fall... so I needed fall colors.

Not trying to bounce, just move with heavy breathing. Given the size of the character, bouncing would be a 2 pixel differential IMO not 1. Also, the frames do not signify bouncing, it is a much slower motion.

Aside from that, does there ever have to be a good reason for bouncing breasts in JRPGs? Fanservice, it is in every one. Other female characters I am making have small breasts (no movement). Something for everyone :)

Thats actually exactly what I was going for. She is wincing and breathing heavily. If you look close her mouth is opening and closing in coordination with the chest movement (breathing in and out). I could alter a few more pixels to put more of her torso into it.

You think the shoulders/arms should drop a pixel and then come back up with the inhale/exhale? Def do-able, will try it out.

I might have over animated the hand/arm. I might just change it to the hand slightly opening and closing instead.

I am looking for feedback on the tileA4 grey building walls. They look so flat, and although I want them to stay sleek and modern looking I still want them to be easily differentiated from the sidewalks and roads.

(I know I can use other colors like brownstone for downtown, but I was hoping for some shading/contrast advise to dimensionalize the walls a bit.) I think the downspouts and skinny windows help, but I am looking for input. ty.

Also I like my mailbox, but when I try and make it with more depth it gets rather awkward - is it okay as is?



streetlights, telephone poles, cars, garage door and roads are not mine. Tile A fences are mine, with Icy's chain link. RTP I made last might while Al Gore was inventing the internet =]

I know the mapping is not vunderbar - I just threw this out to show a couple tiles.

(now I can add dumpsters and all kinds of sweet things with the new mapping tiles!)

So, thoughts on improving the mailbox? Better technique to differentiate between the buildings and the roads?

OMFG I love your logo and the fonts, the subtitle definitely speaks fallout neon sign! A post-apocalyptic project sounds very interesting!

Hi everyone, up till now I've only shown my graphics on this forum, so I thought it might be a good idea to share some of the music I'm working on.

Battle theme:

I'm well aware that the break beats are not in proportion to the rest of the music, and they have too much treble in them. But let me know what you think of the whole.

Calm theme 1:

First created it as an indoor theme, but it could be used for calm outdoor scenes as well I'm sure.

Calm theme 2:

nr1.mp3

Another calm theme, orginially intended for outside on an island. This one is a bit more interesting than the other calm theme.

Choir :

Originally intended for an intro scene, with some text and what not. Kinda just loops for now.

Also originally intended for a part of an intro. Just some organ tune (repeating for now).

@Ooda, that is an interesting logo, has a very nice feel to it.

Anyway, I have been working on some times, and I created a door.

It is more of an emergency exit for a store or something, let me know what you think.

@Ezra: There's a point where the fanservice just morphs into "wtf are those boobs doing", though! Her breasts would totally be bouncing (since they are ginormous), but not like, well... this:



I'm going to make the really weird suggestion to go google breasts bouncing -- and not cartoon boobs, real boobs (cartoon boobs are a terrible reference and should never be used ever)! They don't bounce nearly as much as one would think, and when they do, they go with the rest of the body/gravity/all that jazz. If you have a busty girlfriend or close cousin/sister/friend that wouldn't mind you using her breasts for a reference (it's to improve your skills, okay, it's not that weird), get her to jump around a little bit so you can see how they move with her body. I have definitely hopped in front of a mirror to see what goes on down there, and it helps a lot. XD

Also, for this one:



I think you need an extra frame in here in which she squats a bit, or you gotta remove the pause when the animation loops. Right now it looks a little strange!
