Alright thanks! I guess the boss design is good enough for now. Now I just need to get around to animating his attack animations and such... (ugh)
In the meantime, I think I got something that works for the idle animation for my Wasp enemy. The wings are still pissing me off, but I am not sure what the best way to approach them at all... eh, he's just a regular mob, so maybe it is good enough for now.
Personally though, I really like this guy because of the awesome bomber hat I gave him.
I also played around a little and decided to make the idle animation for a supporting character I have for my RPG.
The idea behind this character, Kami, is that she is actually armless, having had them removed around birth, so they are just stubs. If you look at her elbows, he sleeves are actually tied, and the remaining parts of the sleeves are flailing about.
She has a thing for painting, and generally uses her feet to do regular hand-activities.
(Yes, she's extremely based off a certain character from a certain visual novel thing)
Since my world is all RPG and Fantasy with magics and wonders, Kami here has the magic of conjuration and constructs. As such, she has the ability to create magical hand/claws/objects and use them for all sorts of things. (Very Green Lantern style)
I am somewhat proud of the magical sparkles I gave her arms, as well as the number of movement this character has compared to my previous heroes I designed.
Hrm, the hair is bothering me a little (maybe I need to find new shades of blue), and I wonder if I can somehow put a knife in her mouth... but my Battlers use too little pixels, augh!!!
I also wonder if I can get her constructed arms to look a little better/bulkier/different without eating too much of the design.
Augh, you know what? I should really get around the finishing the four main characters' Battler animations already...
