I would say I am pretty tolerant to bugs in other people’s games. If it’s bugs in my game I am quite the opposite.

Let's toss the Natalie Portman & Whatshisname Meme format to this one.Person using RPG Maker: I'm glad I got all that DLC for sale.
RPG Maker DLC: Hmm, we'll make the game you're making better for sure.
Person using RPG Maker: ...
DLC: You're going to put us in your game that you're making, right?
(Sorry for the lack of visuals for this meme)
Those types of games rely on good execution because they don't have anything to fall back on.View attachment 206979
Anyone else have problems with this?
Those devs are probably the ones who are more familiar with game design and how to make a generally good game. It's not what I strive for but it's always nice to hear that it's possible.Actually in my experience the average person is ok with the RTP. I know devs who have managed to sell enough copies of a commercial game with RTP to go into full time dev.
The prophecy has been fulfilled.
If you have a friend in Steam ask them why they have a thousand unfinished games. You'd be surprised by their response. There's probably a term for the effect sales have on people. You know you don't need something, but seeing something reduced overrides common sense and drives us to purchase these things anyway. It might be related to how we feel good after buying things, only it's now enhanced because we believe we got something very, very cheap. I don't know. xD
You're only gonna use DS+ and GENE Scene Builder.
One thing I think JS has over RUBY is the essentially infinite window size choices, RUBY can only go from 544 x 416 to 640 x 480, no more, no less, JS lets you have any screen resolution.
