I can proudly say with all the stuff going on my game and a kinda unusual story telling and setting, I managed to avoid almost all if not all of these (maybe, except the cheesy credit, and uh, I don't want to spoiler).

@Yanfly Omg that is so true. So many RPG Maker users I've seen always started a project with that fantasy stuff and I didn't know why they had to create a game base on that.

I can definitely relate to this. And it's not just structure. Adding in all kinds of features and compatibilities that you know you'll never personally need or use plus documenting and demoing everything so that others can use it takes soo much extra time.
