  • I have a twin sister (there are two of me, think about that)
Okay random fact #1 - I also have a twin! We are fraternal though, so no mistaking us for clones. ;)

Hmmm, since some of you mentioned cats, I am (probably literally) deathly allergic to cats, therefore my feelings towards them are not overly fond.

I love, love, love doggies, but my allergy to them is getting worse to the point that our current pooch will be our last. Which makes me very sad.

I have had so many jobs over the years, it's ridiculous. Oddly, one of my favorites was working at a horse farm one summer in college. No, shoveling horse manure was not that great, but it was a good physical job that I got to do in solitude, no company but beautiful animals. Perfect for this introvert.

I love to travel and hope to be able to explore outside the US one day.

I love going to historical places. I can't explain it but there is this almost other-world like connection for me to places where I know historical events took place. Almost like you can feel an impression of the spirits of the people involved in the event lingering.

Perhaps some of you might these things interesting.

Iron Croc, I used to be the only person who ever heard myself sing. Growing up my family would always tell me to shut up (like, I wasn't even out of tune, what the heck!?) but since moving in with my boyfriend I won't stop for nothing and he now gets to hear my jazzy renditions of Sonic the Hedgehog theme songs at the top of my lungs every night.
The thing is, only one other has heard me sing, and that's my (now ex) girlfriend.  Upon hearing me sing, she would get SO turned on just by me singing, usually things would end up.... certain ways.... ahem...

My first kiss and girlfriend was at 19, and before that I always thought that I was the biggest loser in the universe. Now I tell people who feels the same way that it doesn't really matter, is just a matter of time.

I was in an award winning boys quartet in high school. I sing low tenor/baritone.

I'm out of practice now, but I still have a good voice.

I also have sleep paralysis at times. I almost always get it if I'm sleeping on my back. I get the classic "shadow hovering and holding me down" hallucination that is so commonly associated with it. I've also had dreams come to full life in my bedroom while I just laid there, and I'm always very aware that I'm awake but cannot move. Is it the same for you?
Well, I can't say I remember all details. But it is just like, I'm asleep, maybe dreaming or not, then I wake up, but can't move. Then start thinking if I could wake myself up. I start to try to move my arm, but don't feel like anything is moving at all, or maybe yes. Similar to when your leg is numb, but there you can see it move and stuff.

What I would like is to have someone else close when this happens, just to ask him/her if my body moves, and/or if they hear me doing any sound at all. I always try as hard as possible to move a muscle, without knowing if there is any result at all. This "moving something" is what keeps me busy while on a sleep paralysis.

Then after several -time lapse-, the rest of me finally wakes up.

===

Now, what else is an insteresting, hidden fact? Hm... I can roll my tongue :V.

This is more true than most people will ever be able to appreciate. My first rented home was basically a caretaker's shack for an elderly family friend where I took care of her horses and did yardwork to supliment my rent costs. If I hadn't started a family I'd probably still be there, much better getting paid for taking care of horses with the benefit of being able to ride them when you wish than owning them yourself most of the time.

My first kiss and girlfriend was at 19, and before that I always thought that I was the biggest loser in the universe. Now I tell people who feels the same way that it doesn't really matter, is just a matter of time.
This was me as well, I didn't believe I was capable of such a relationship until it kind of blindsided me in my early twenties. Now I just count myself lucky that I avoided all of the dramatic teen bs that comes along with the typical 'first love' relationships and such.

Wow! So many singers here! Well, sure. I will say that I am a singer, as well! But I do not sing to myself...I sing in front of large audiences and such. =D

I can share such an example with you all...from yesterday's graduation! They had me sing a song for commencement. Good stuff. If you'd like to hear, simply skip to roughly an hour and thirty three minutes in (1:33). Yippe Skippee.

Haha thanks! Was a little nerve-racking. My voice didn't go where I wanted it to go at some times, and I came off a little flat at other times. But all in all, it went well, and the reception from the audience was phenomenal. XD

That took me on a feel trip. I just graduated last spring. Congratulations! And your solo was great! I've sung in a lot of theater choruses before but I've had few solos. It takes a lot of guts. I wish I had a video of my senior violin solo. I played it a tad fast for cool points, too.

I sang at my wedding. I think there is a video of it somewhere.

Here's another little-known fact about me: For almost 3 years I played in an all-volunteer community band!

Every single one of us have (or had) day jobs and the mission is to bring live music to the So Cal city of Long Beach. Here's a song from a concert we did at a wine festival. We were the last act and everyone stayed for us. We traveled the furthest (about 40 miles) to get there and everyone loved US the best... :) I'm on flute (second, there are three in the band)

Anyway, here's the song. Mind you, NONE of us are professionals, so you band geeks, NO CRITIQUES!

Here's another little gem, we're knwn for this kind of music... this and movie stuff. ^_^

Come Christmas time, concerts become PACKED: Standnig room only! The entire community comes out for these.

Maybe when Father is better, I might rejoin so I can play this again... :)

I'm a bagger at my local Giant in VA. (It means I bag people's grocery's for them)

My point is that I bagged Ms. Americas groceries before, I think she was visiting last year's Ms. America who goes to Patrick Henry Collage (or something like that)

What else... (goes through closest) ah, when I became an eagle scout my Mother emailed Nintendo of America and they sent a congratulations letter signed by Reggie, I guess that's pretty awesome.

Little known fact about me...  Hrm...

I was pronounced dead for 15 whole minutes on April 25, 2002, at around 11:35PM.  Zero heartbeat, zero brain activity, zero respiration.  Dead.

I cannot ride a bike.

I'm partially deaf thanks to a concussion explosion.

That same explosion damaged my eyes and rendered me, to quote my optometrist, "Artificially Colorblind."  His thought is the scarring on my lenses is causing light to refract wrong.  Sounds legit to me.

When I'm alone, I like to sing.  I have a terrible voice.

A certain Canadian Pop-Punk Princess is a VERY guilty pleasure.

I cried at the end of Bioshock Infinite, Armageddon, Anne of Green Gables, and Seasons 5 and 8 of Red Vs. Blue.

There ya go, there's some little known facts about me!

1) I can't ride a motorbike. But I can drive a car.

2) I have been single for about 10 years, and the curse has been lifted a few months ago.

3) I am a secretive person, you must be blessed that I've shared my secrets.  :D

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
